Schmidts Fudge Haus

Ok, the cat is out of the bag so I will break my silence. I just like to know who did this to my hair while I was completely sedated with drugs during my two week visit at Doctors West! My sister who laughs while she said no, or my partner or who I thought were my best friends. Anyone who can tell me the identity guilty party gets free chocolates. Never the less I’m out and recuperating. I should be back to myself by the end of the year. Thanks so much for the cards and uplifting messages you have sent me. I left the hospital with a foot less of my intestines and lots of crap as I had bowel blockage for two weeks. I do know that I’m unable to run for congress as I have no bull crap inside of me now. A very painful experience to go through, but now that it’s behind me (no pun intend). I am healing well. I had a wonderful staff of nurses and wonderful doctors visiting me every day throughout my visit. I would like to say that my staff at the shop has been overwhelming with the support and love and covering all bases throughout my absence. They are wonderful and I’m blessed to have them as family. Thanks to those as well who left and returned only to help out when needed. Thank you guys. An foremost a huge thank you for those who changed my dressings daily and including Michael, my partner who also spent times with me at home and at the shop decorating and painting the windows for our upcoming event which is now what just a week from today. Please mark your calendars to join us this coming Sunday, Dec. 1, where we will feature the Columbus Chorus of Sweet Adeline’s along with a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. This pet friendly event will also feature roasted nuts, popcorn, coffee and cocoa and, of course, free chocolate samplings for all. Also, keep in mind German Village Lights is set for Sunday, Dec. 8. It has been a wonderful beautiful weekend as the German Village Haus und Garten tour comes to a close. We met so many guests from all over, including this wonderful family from Hawaii, plus a visitor, Craig Collins, from Collins Nursery in Mt Vernon, who tried his hand at making the fudge. We loved seeing all of you; and eagerly await your next visit.

We are so proud to sell Miss Riley's cookies located in Kettering. She makes all of these beautiful cookies and customizes them to your liking. We, here at the Fudge Haus, hear its Ohio State graduation this weekend. Well, we look forward to seeing each and every one of you -- rain or shine! We'll be here wearing our smiles!

Iconic West Side restaurant Florentine builds upon its near-three quarters of a century legacy of serving up authentic homestyle Italian dishes and Old World hospitality with the sale of its signature spaghetti sauces and house salad dressing, though the landmark restaurant closed its doors a final time in December 2016. Nick, whose grandfather started the business in 1945, still makes the sauces and dressing for retail sale online and in local establishments, like the Fudge Haus. Well, these ladies caught wind of the items on sale at our shop and cleaned us out. Nick, HELP!! We need more of Florentine's savory sauces and dressing because these ladies told us they'd be back!! Any chance you can get some to us before Mother's Day?!
