Didn’t feel the best but somehow was my second-fastest 5k which may explain why it wasn’t the best lol 🤣

1st week of my maintenance plan with is in the books! Not training for anything at the moment because I have a breast revision scheduled for 9/26, so just trying to move my body, maintain my endurance and stay healthy. I know I’ll have to start from scratch after I recover.

I've found that moving my body is so much more enjoyable when I do it with a friend. Whether it's a morning jog, a friendly tennis match, or a refreshing swim, having a buddy by your side makes all the difference. Not only does it keep me motivated, but it also turns exercise into a fun, social event.

I wanted to chat about something super important – breast cancer research and awareness. It’s amazing how far we’ve come with early detection and treatments, but there’s still a lot more work to be done.

Supporting research and spreading awareness can literally save lives. Whether it’s encouraging a loved one to get their annual mammogram or sharing information on the latest research breakthroughs, every bit helps.

And speaking of research, did you know that 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime? In 2024, an estimated 310,720 women and 2,800 men will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. Chances are, you know at least one person who has been personally affected by breast cancer. (resource: National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.).
