Videos by Ohio Osteopathic Association in Columbus. The OOA has been serving the osteopathic profession and the residents of Ohio since 1898.
Every year at the House of Delegates we take time to reflect and remember the OOA members who have passed since the last HOD meeting.
Paying tribute to these physicians is not just a gesture of respect; it is an affirmation of our shared humanity and the enduring impact of those who have touched our lives. By commemorating them, we ensure that their impact is not forgotten and that future generations of osteopathic physicians understand and appreciate their role in OOA history.

Nick Hess, DO, concludes his OOA presidential term as he began it—with music. Enjoy “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye.” He noted the song is an excellent representation of the joy of being in the company of those we care about followed by the emotions associated with the uncertainty of moving on to the next stage in our lives. THANK YOU DR. HESS for the music and for a great year! (He officially finishes his term at the Ohio Osteopathic Symposium next week.) Note the accompaniment from his son. 😊
The MINDFULNESS MONDAY held this week focused on Music & Medicine. OOA President Nick Hess, DO, led the session. Music has been Dr. Hess’s passion and gives him inspiration for other areas of his life. He minored in music at Muskingum University and has played the saxophone since 6th grade. He continues to play with the Sinclair Community College Concert Band and the Springboro Wind Symphony. Here, he plays "The Nearness of You."

Why DO Day is Important
WHY ‘DO DAY’ (AND ADVOCACY) IS IMPORTANT...
"Everyday policymakers are making decisions about the way you can practice and how much you’re going to get paid to do so."
-Dan Krajcik
DO/MBA Student, OU-HCOM
National Chair, Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents
Dan joined more than 1,100 DOs and medical students—including 40 fellow Ohioans—in Washington, DC, on Wednesday to meet with elected officials to educate them about osteopathic medicine and advocate for legislation that is vital to patients and the profession.
