What a long, strange trip we have been on my friend. God willing we will have more years and adventure together. Happy 11th B Day my Darling von haus Rose.

Over the weekend we had a lovely time at a local gardening nursery and a fun photo shoot when we got back to our new place!

We sure are welcoming this cooler weather with smiles! We don't enjoy the humidity very much lol! We love the leaves changing to pretty colors and more time to work the dogs in comfort.

We also worked puppies in a store for the first time! They did fantastic once they adjusted to the new surroundings. Very proud they adjusted pretty fast. We are definitely excited to work them in more stores and gain that exposure all the dogs need.

Our head honcho lady was in the middle of a knee replacement among other health issues and this boy was working hard to tune up his bite work!

An exciting thing is we got him filmed for everyone to see!

His IPO1 this boy scored at 98! Look at the power this boy has! You don't want to be on the wrong end of that leash with an angry boy.

We also recently paid OFA to have his genetic testing present! We've had it don't for awhile but forgot to pay OFA to make it public so there we go after using a different lab that OFA would accept.

Feel like Oogie deserves the spot light for a second to celebrate his accomplishments! He's truly the best boy and we feel lucky we get to own this stud! We hope to work on getting him his 2 and his 3 which if it wasn't for human health issues he would already have them! So here we go getting In gear to getting those titles on him! Oogie is an amazing dog!

Hello all! It's been crazy here at Rosehaven Kennels for the past couple months.

We are looking to place some young adults that just aren't making the cut where we want them in schutzhund and our breeding program. Our loss is someone else's gain of a lovely pet dog.

Born 3/21/22

She's a super cute fluffy black GSD. She has all the floof on her ears, between the toes-ies and everywhere(which someone will have to brush her atleast once a week to prevent matting, mostly behind the ears)! Unfortunately photos don't really do her coat juatice. She is such a happy girl and a super bouncy fun personality! I don't think you could find a happier girl. We got her Rabies vaccine updated over the weekend and everyone made a stir about her cuteness. She almost went home with a young lady.
This fun bouncing girl will make a fine active pet for someone! She could be a great hiking buddy for someone. She doesn't have an interest in the Flirt pole or what I should say it takes to many conditions for her to engage. We will never force a dog into something they don't want to do or barely have an interest in and we are determined to find someone where they can find their jam even if iys just snuggling on the couch is all the dog wants to do. We have goals and one of them is a dog having fun with the sports we do.

New titles and genetic testing! What a busy week for us here at Rosehaven Kennels. We are crazy busy training and socializing our puppies but luckily we found time to get all this done!

This is a 5 month old Nexus and Oogie puppy owned and handled by the right hand business partner that also owner handles Nexus. These puppies are always so willing to do whatever their owners want and ask of them. This large litter was very hard to pick from since we liked many in the litter. This said many new families got some really good puppies, which that is something we strive to provide for the public.
There is 1 puppy left from the litter we are looking to place. She's a real lover of a puppy and sleeps above Kathy's head on her pillow. This pup reminds Kathy alot of Nexus in behavior and demeanor. So contact us if you are interested!

She's one of our 6 month old puppies from a recent litter. She's a cute fluffy lil girl and oh so spunky. We are excited to keep working with this puppy!

(Updated to 3 titles. We got 2 title certificates in the mail and we are waiting on the 3rd. I figure throw that up there to since it is already on her registered name)

All black GSD pups (some have a white spot on the chest). 11 born and all are thriving!
4 long coat, 7 short coat.
5 female and 6 males.
Some look like good service prospects and some look like good schutzhund dogs. Pups are well socialized and part of the family. They get there second round of distemper vaccine next week so we will start placing after that is done. They are very versatile working lines with many successful dogs in all sorts of jobs like schutzhund, K9 officers, service, therapy and many more!

Sire, Oogie, is an IPO1 dog (would be further titled if humans didn't have health issues and covid). We are working to get more titles now though.

New title certificate came in the mail the other day! And we will get more of course. This girl loves the water so hopefully some dock diving is in her future.

she's still under 2 so OFAs will be coming!

Congrats to Nexus on the new title(oh man it took forever to get the certificate)! And she is close to other titles that we will get next year. For now Nexus is keeping busy with her 11 puppies! We will have both genders available in some weeks after the pups have had 2 or 3 rounds of the distemper vaccine (we are being cautious as we watch the parvo outbreak that is hitting the US). Nexus is a wonderful mother and the puppies are growing like weeds! Contact us if you are interested in a Nexus puppy.

Over the weekend we sent home some puppies which is always a bitter sweet deal. We will miss our puppies but so glad they went to loving homes! We still have some to go home and some will be trained and then offered as a started dog for a variety of outlets.

In all the puppy chaos we received more certificates from akc with titles! We are very proud of our dogs! We do have more pending titles and certificates coming for other titles too. We do have plans of trying for more this month stay tuned!

Today was a fun day to open the mail box! 2 of the German Shepherds got their canine good citizen urban and canine good citizen community! They were great at homedepot for these tests and people were impressed. All the other dogs taking these tests where amazing service dog teams. We had many workers and shoppers come to watch all of the amazing dogs taking these tests including our 2 GSDs.

Hopefully we can get more dogs tested and there are more plans for other titles!

Congrats Nexus and Ripper!

Our apprentice over the weekend took some dogs to the huge All American Columbus Pet Expo! They were loved by many people for their looks and good behavior. They even both passed their CGC which stands for canine good citizen. This title among others (and much bigger and harder titles) are some goals we have for all our dogs! It is to bad we could not do more tests with dogs ready for it but limited space got us. So here's to the rest of the year titling dogs. Also a shout out to Central Ohio K9 for administering the tests and Kathy for handling 2 dogs at the same time in such a busy environment.

However we are definitely ready to run right into this next year hoping for a better year, just like Nexus here. We are training and getting ready for all the fun competitions to come.
