Meet Lily, our Industrial Parts Sales Representative! She has her bachelor’s degree in Consumer & Family Finance from The Ohio State University, and professional experience working for a home building company in Columbus. Lily joins Komar with eight years of service in the Marine Corps, four years of active duty and four years in the reserves.

Her role requires her to work across different internal departments to support the existing fleet of Komar equipment. A leading hard surface flooring supplier contacted Komar about their wood waste problem. They were utilizing a centralized collection area with several open-top dumpsters. The frequency of pulls on non-compacted wood was high, and the forklifts had a far drive to bring material to the centralized collection area. After installing a Komar Auger-Pak® at each end of their facility, they reduced their pulls by 5:1. The savings in labor and yard space were repurposed for their primary business operations. The success at their California facility led them to buy several more units for their locations in Georgia, Texas, and Maryland.

When a premier supplier of auto parts contacted Komar about their wood waste problem, they were getting low hauling weights and had a designated employee manually disassembling pallets and crates. After installing the Komar Auger-Pak®, they were able to eliminate manual wood waste breakdown, allowing them to promote the employee to a different and safer position. Savings on labor and hauling led them to buy units for their Illinois, Texas, and California locations.
