What's the most common challenge in this space?
The most common challenge that PSI faces is finding people. This market is booming right now with so much opportunity…and it is happening FAST! Things are moving at break neck speeds right now. The opportunities are plentiful for folks who are hard workers with experience. While it is the most challenging, it is also the most rewarding. Knowing that we are helping folks with their career makes us happy.
What advice do you have for women in executive positions?
DO NOT SIT DOWN! Seriously, if you want the opportunity you need to take it. Make it happen. If you aren’t willing to put your neck out, to ask for the opportunity, to walk the difficult path you will never get to where you want to be. As Shirley Chisholm said “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring in a folding chair.”

According to the International Data Corporation, investment in digital transformation is projected to reach a whopping $6.3 trillion by next year. There are a few reasons for this. Chloe Taylor’s career journey began with her enrollment in the Ohio School for the Deaf (OSD) 4Plus Program. The program is designed to aid deaf or hard of hearing students who demonstrate a need for continuing education upon completion of their high school credits and defer their diploma. The goal of the program is to help students gain employment experience and develop and improve their independent living skills while receiving support from teachers and staff.
It was within this program that Chloe connected with her true passion – working with children like her – children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Chloe found herself immersed in the stories and experiences of the program participants, which motivated her to pursue a career through the Program as a Student Aide.

Why has it gotten so hard to land a remote job?
Business Insider dug into the factors behind this highly competitive job market and found the following three key factors are driving the crunch.
1. Many large companies have ordered their remote employees to return to their cubicles, prompting scores of office-averse professionals to look for roles that will allow them to keep working from home.
2. Those same companies are now listing almost every new job opening as in-person or hybrid, sparking a sharp drop in the number of remote roles.
3. There's been a dramatic slowdown in tech, the industry that supercharged the boom in remote work. The result: Too many WFH wannabes vying for too few remote spots.

Since 2018, corporate giving and volunteerism is up. According to the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), 47% of U.S. companies offered community volunteer programs in 2018, up from 40% in 2014. That percentage is even higher for large companies. The Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose—a global coalition of multibillion-dollar companies—reports that 66% of its member firms offered paid-time-off volunteer programs in 2019, compared with 56% in 2016.
