As a small business owner - I've learned the way to put my BEST FOOT forward is to follow God's word and direction.

Each day I sit at my desk... I thank God for the new opportunities He brings my way as I've learned it's not solely marketing, influence or connections with people that brings in blessings + opportunities but instead for me it's staying connected and yielded to God's plans for my life.

Friends - as you embark upon a new week, I'd like to encourage that you PRAY and ASK God for His direction, His plan and His purpose. Don't be hasty to connect with people/things that aren't meant for you in this season, don't be afraid to say "No, not right now" for certain opportunities, nor be fearful to make uncomfortable calls or make requests when led to - you never know your "next move" may be connected to you next "faith move".

Yesterday I completed the 12-Week Aspire Accelerator Business Cohort with The Women's Center for Economic Opportunity along with many other amazing women.
