Strengthening the communities we serve has always been a foundational pillar of our giving strategy. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio is responsible for keeping families close by providing a home-away-from-home to families of seriously ill children. With our grant to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, we furnished 26 new guest rooms and IBP volunteers helped to assemble furniture for those rooms.
We're proud to support families like the Buchanans, who live in Virginia and have stayed at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio at least seven times, who say, "If you've got to be away from home, this is the place to be."
For the fifth consecutive year, IBP Support Group employees joined forces with Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio on the Playhouse Project. Our team had the privilege of assembling and decorating two custom playhouses for local families. This initiative raises essential funds and awareness for Habitat MidOhio. We are honored to contribute to such a meaningful cause and positively impact our community. Thank you to all the dedicated employees who made this possible!
This Memorial Day, we reflect on the courage and sacrifices of those who have defended our freedom. Let us honor and remember them.
At Installed Building Products, we are committed to meaningful community engagement. Within the past five years, our grants have helped support organizations like the Youth Assistance Coalition, where we've helped provide a safe haven and crucial resources to over 300 young people.

Strengthening the communities we serve has always been a foundational pillar of our overall giving strategy. As we reflect on the past five years of corporate philanthropy, our previous grants to Women Under Construction Network through the R.E.P.A.I.R Angels has helped enhance the lives of elderly community members by enabling them to attend DIY home repair classes, boosting their confidence and engagement. In addition, over 40 homes have been repaired and 207 individuals have been empowered through education.
Last week, during National Volunteer Week, our dedicated IBP team had the privilege of volunteering at Mid-Ohio Food Collective's Mid-Ohio Market. Together, we restocked shelves and prepared the market for our community members. We're proud to support such an important cause and give back to the community that supports us all year round!
Joining forces with the Gary Sinise Foundation, we are honored to help provide a specially adapted, mortgage-free home for U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class (Ret.) John Kremer. And a special shout out to our Edwards/Mooney & Moses branch who did all the insulation work within the home. We’re thankful to partner with the Gary Sinise Foundation to ensure our nation’s service members have the independence and support they deserve.
On this Earth Day, let's reflect on our commitment to sustainability. Our customers are creating homes in the houses we build with them, including keeping their families safe and warm while saving energy. We do so by using environmentally responsible materials. Over 80% of our insulation sales consist of fiberglass, with 50-80% recycled material, while our cellulose insulation is crafted from at least 75% recycled waste paper and cardboard. Our insulation products reduce carbon emissions through energy efficiency.
Together, let's continue to build a greener future.
