Today, Franklin Fire Company placed our new tender 3316 in service. This truck has a 3000 gallon tank and is equipped with a 1250 gpm pump. It has two portable ponds and two pre connected 1-3/4 hand lines.
Tender 3316 will be used to transport water and set up water supply for the areas of our town that do not have fire hydrants as well as for our mutual aid areas.
Franklin Fire would like to thank our residents and our Township Committee for your continued support.

Over this past weekend, Franklin Fire Company #1 members participated in firefighter survival bailout training with Fireground Technologies.
Equipment and training were funded through a FEMA grant.
Enjoyed a great evening celebrating another safe and productive year. Awards for service years and positions to the great volunteers serving our community.
Members of Franklin Fire Company are currently visiting the Pierce manufacturing plant for final inspection on our new 3,000 gallon tender. Delivery is expected in 4 weeks.

Nice visit today from the911project.org . We have an artifact from 911 that we proudly display in out station. We also provide it to the Mansfield Township School District as well.as other civic groups in the township.
