Israeli Cyclists Join Pelotonia to Honor Loved Ones and Support Cancer Research - JewishColumbus JewishColumbus is proud to welcome a group of Israeli cyclists who were deeply affected when Hamas tragically killed 1200 and kidnapped more than 200 on October 7. This delegation will proudly participate in Pelotonia thanks to the Israeli organization Project 24.

JewishColumbus and the JCC of Greater Columbus are proud to welcome a group of Israeli cyclists who are participating in Pelotonia through the organization Project 24 to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, while also honoring those affected by tragic events on October 7th.

12 passionate Israeli cyclists from the Gaza Envelope kibbutzim and moshavim had a plan for October 7: a morning bike ride just like any normal Saturday. But this time, instead of a calm ride and fresh air, they faced the terrible terror attack. As they continue to grapple with trauma, riding together again will provide healing for both mind and body.

JCamps’ 2024 season off to fun start After the camp season kicked off for the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus’ Camp Chaverim and Camp Hoover on June 3, participating campers from rising first graders to eighth

Laughter and cool water - the perfect recipe for a hot summer day! These smiles say it all- we're having a whale of a time! 🐳☀️

Week 2 at Camp Chaverim and Camp Hoover was a blast! Theater Camp practiced for Annie, Chaverim played kickball, swam, and enjoyed gaga, while Hoover kayaked, climbed, and did archery. So many smiles and memories made already. We're so excited for Week 3!

At the JCC, we are committed to providing our members with the best possible facilities and amenities. As part of this commitment, we have recently invested in the installation of a brand new pool liner for our outdoor pool.

However, unforeseen delays caused by weather and construction challenges have necessitated a change in our original plans. Regrettably, we must postpone the opening of our outdoor pool until Monday, May 27th. Please note that this date is subject to weather conditions and the completion of necessary construction work.

We understand the anticipation surrounding the pool's opening, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause. Rest assured, we are working diligently to ensure that the pool is ready for your enjoyment as soon as possible.
