Get dad what he wants today: MEAT! Lots of meat!! All the meat!!
Want something a little healthier? How about some Hunan Tofu with brown rice?
Just a reminder that our house made dumpling sauce is fire.
We are the best at this.
Just living my best life and having a white-rice summer!
It's Mothers day!
Moms have many different interests and needs, but the three they all share is:
1) Being told that they are loved by their kids.
2) Their kids saying they know they are loved by their moms.
3) Crab Rangoon.
A lot of people don't realize the last one is such a big deal, but it is! It's a really big deal! Moms love Crab Rangoon!

We asked AI to make us a picture of Orange Chicken and this is what it came up with.
Rest assured, what we sell is nothing like this! Every step of our process is done by a real human in house. From chopping the meat to size, to breading and frying it fresh, to making the sauces every morning. It will be a LONG time before technology can replicate the dishes we carefully prepare for you here every day!
Our orange sauce is made in house, and is just as good on Tofu as it is on Chicken!
As a reminder, all our sauces are house made! We work hard every day to bring you the absolute best food we can!
One of our least ordered items is the Fried Zucchini. We use a heavier than average breading that almost has a hush-puppy like feel to it. Its big, FAT slices of zucchini too, so it's a really good overall experience! Served with our house made Sweet and Sour sauce. You'll love them!
Today is the Day of the Human, the birth of all humans! Today we celebrate by eating 7 vegetables!
Maybe a Vegetable Lo Mein would bring you good health and good fortune into the New Year! It tastes great too!
Today is "Break 5", a very important day in the Chinese New Year!
After today business can resume as normal, women can give new year blessings, and activities that are normally considered bad luck for a new year can be performed. Today also when the "Five Poverties" are thwarted. The poverties are lack of wisdom, learning, culture, fate, and relationships.
But most importantly, you must eat dumplings today! Some say for the next 5 days, but at least today! You don't want to invite the poverties to stay with you all year! Be sure to get your dumplings in!
On this day in the Spring Festival the Gods visit your household. Prepare a feast for them, especially fruit! Of course, once you are satisfied the Gods have visited, you should eat the feast as well!
Today is the 3rd day of the Spring Festival, and is known as "Stay at home" day! After days of parties and visiting family, it's a good day to get rest! Order in some delivery and go to bed early tonight!
Also, it's the day that rats celebrate and marry, so leave an offering to rodents so that they will leave you alone all year!
Today is the Second day of the Spring Festival, and is the day to visit in-laws.
Traditionally, daughters would go to live with their husbands and would not often have time to visit their home towns. On the second day of the New Year daughters return home with their Husbands and kids and visit their families and neighbors!
This is a special day to share lunch with someone you have not seen in a while. Maybe over some of our Award Winning General Tsos?
Happy New Year!
It's the Year of the Dragon! So let's talk dragons!
In the West, dragons were considered demons. Evil, menacing creatures to be feared. In the East they were symbols of Imperial power and authority. They are regal in nature, and of the Zodiac are the only mythological creature. Their absence from our realm is because of a noble sacrifice, when they took it into their own hands to end a terrible draught and were punished by the Jade Emperor for going over his head. But even to this day they four mighty dragons live on as the Yellow, Yangzi, Pearl, and Amur rivers, ensuring China will never know draught again. In the great race, they gave up their easy win to save multiple villages and other competitors, while still taking a respectable 5th out of 12.
If you were born in 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, 1952, or 1940 you're a Dragon! (If you were born in 1928 or 1916 you're a really old dragon. If you were born in 1904 you're dead right now). If you're 24, you're a "Gold" Dragon, which is the most honest and naturally talented of the elements for a dragon to be!
Dragons are intelligent and focused! They love challenges, and once they set their mind to something they cannot be dissuaded! (Incidentally, these are all traits that 24 year old's are SUPER into, so you're also the most likely to get a tattoo of your symbol of all the animal signs!). Dragons are short tempered, and irritable. They call out failures in others frequently, but cannot take it in return. Famous dragons include both insuppressible artists, and insatiable tyrants. Your lucky colors are Gold, White, or Grey. You can interact freely with Blue and Green colors, but should never choose them when other options exist. Cardinal directions are all lucky for you, but the North West should be avoided entirely! You'll find allies in Rats, Tigers, and Snakes, and will butt heads with Oxen, Goats, and Dogs.
While you would think this is a year to make big moves, because dragons are at odds with the God of Age and the Jade Emperor, this is a year to use caution. Especially with the work place and with your health. Beware of competition, and work hard this year. Avoid wearing shapes of rabbits, dogs, and dragons (maybe skip the tattoo after all!). Your time to strike will come, but this is a year to weather through.
It's New Years Eve tonight!
We celebrate by having a great feast with all our family. Remember to set spaces for the ancestors, and to let them eat first! Everyone must drink too! We stay up late, and make lots of noise! Legend has it that the monster Nian would terrorize towns on this day, but he was frightened by loud noises, bright lights, and the color red... so bust out the fire crackers!!
However you choose to celebrate, enjoy the night with good food, good spirits, and lively activity! If you want to have good fortune in the new year, better send the old one out with a blast!
Soon.
