Trisha has been with Cera Products since concluding a 20 year career in the US Army. While in the Army, she spent the majority of her career in the performance nutrition, rehabilitation, and sport capacity. She now uses these skills as our nutrition consultant. Have you met the Founder of Cera Products?

Cera Products started with saving lives. Founder and CEO, Charlene Riikonen, saw first-hand the devastating effects of dehydration in Bangladesh. Wanting to make a difference she set out on a mission to improve upon a simple, yet effective solution to dehydration called "ORS" or "oral rehydration salts". Charlene and the team of researchers in Bangladesh found that by using rice in their ORS solution, instead of simple sugar, hydration occurred faster and for longer periods.

Charlene returned to the US and in 1993 she founded Cera Products. Cera Products is now used in hospitals, relief missions, all branches of the military and more!

"I gave my son a pediatric electrolyte drink when he was very ill at the age of 1. When he seemed to be getting more and more dehydrated a family member recommended ceralyte. In addition to earning my doctorate in Human Performance, I have competed and coached in the sport of triathlon for 35 years, and have experimented with dozens of sports drinks in training and competition.
