Your past support has been instrumental in allowing CDT to grow, innovate, and continue to enrich our community through the art of dance. Now, more than ever, we need your help to sustain this vital mission.
CDT is a cornerstone of our local arts scene, employing both local and national artists who have committed their talents and lives to Columbus. Our professional company not only presents groundbreaking dance works but also collaborates with local musicians, visual artists, set and costume designers, ensuring our performances are enriched by the diverse talents of our community.
One of our proudest achievements is our “No Child Turned Away” scholarship program, through which we donate over $20,000 annually to families in need. This initiative ensures that every child, regardless of financial circumstances, has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of dance.
However, despite the generous grants we receive from The Greater Columbus Arts Council, The Columbus Foundation, and the Ohio Arts Council, these funds alone are not sufficient to fulfill our mission. Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 through individual donations to ensure CDT remains a stable and thriving part of our community’s cultural landscape.
This season, titled CREATE: LINE|SHAPE|SPACE, promises to be one of our most exciting yet. From the much-loved “Dancers Making Dances” to the 5th anniversary of “Wonderment,” our performances are designed to inspire and engage audiences while showcasing the incredible talents within our community.
By contributing to CDT, you are not only supporting the arts but also investing in the future of our community. There are several ways you can help.
Your generosity will allow us to continue bringing in emerging and renowned choreographers, offering more inspiration and versatility to our dancers and audiences alike.
Thank you for considering a donation to Columbus Dance Theatre. Together, we can ensure that our 26th season and beyond are filled with the creativity, passion, and community spirit that define us.
