We're excited to introduce New Century CSA as our first feature on our "Field to Fork" series! This series explores our partnerships with local farms and highlights how we reduce our carbon footprint while support hardworking local farmers.

New Century CSA started as a grain farm two generations ago and has evolved into a thriving provider of fresh produce in central Ohio. Tim and his dedicated team deliver weekly boxes filled with everything from peas to sweet corn, staying connected with their community through their community-supported agriculture, or CSA, program. They use innovative techniques like plastic-covered crop beds and underground watering systems to ensure healthy, sustainable crops. 🌽

We had an amazing time at the Children's Hunger Alliance's Side by Side fundraiser in Cleveland! It was a wonderful evening in support of CHA's incredible mission. Founded in 1970, Children's Hunger Alliance is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger by providing nutritious meals to at-risk children.

At DNO Produce, we're proud to partner with CHA to help feed Ohio's children. Through this partnership, we provide students across the state with weekly take-home produce bags filled with fresh fruit like apples, clementines, pears, and more. We're grateful for the opportunity to support such a vital cause and to work alongside CHA in making a difference in our community.

Alex DiNovo, President of DNO Produce, shared opening remarks at the recent Consumer Connection Conference, where he called for continued efforts to eliminate consumer barriers to fresh produce and emphasized that access to healthy foods should be recognized as a universal right. As Chairman of the Foundation for Fresh Produce, Alex exemplifies our mission to promote increased global consumption of produce and a healthier community. Shoutout to our 'Citrus Got Real' team for crushing it at the Hunger Run 5K, benefitting the Neighborhood Services, Inc Food Pantry! 🍊 Not only did they cross the finish line strong, but they also spread some fresh vibes by offering some delicious fresh fruit to fellow attendees.

Our team had another fantastic day serving at the Mid-Ohio Food Collective ! Marcie, Chris, Kevin, Laxmi, and Alex were on hand to assst shoppers with checkouts, loading up their cars, and engaging in meaningful conversations with customers.

Did you know MOFC is the 5th largest produce-distributing food bank in the United States? We're proud to partner with MOFC and wholeheartedly support their vision to provide access to healthy foods in our region!

We're celebrating a decade of making a difference! Last month, we proudly partnered with WCBE 90.5 FM for the 10th consecutive year to host the Fresh Cut Food Drive, benefiting Mid-Ohio Food Collective. This milestone not only showcases the longevity of our partnership but also underscores its profound impact on our community.

Thanks to our collaborative efforts over the years, we've been able to donate thousands of pounds of nutritious produce to families across Central Ohio, all while raising awareness about the critical issue of hunger in our community. It's a testament to the power of collective action when the private, public, and nonprofit sectors come together.
