This sketch shows my proposal for adding a second floor above an existing space. This house is so nicely proportioned that we have to be careful how we add onto it. By setting the addition back a bit, it still gives visual priority to the main part of the house.
Curb appeal sketches for this cute little cottage in Olde Worthington. Possibly an addition and a new front porch!
Another "Master Plan" design! This is something where we look at a clients' long-term goals as a whole and then decide how to potentially phase their projects.
I've had the opportunity to work on a few modern houses recently - this is the newest! This is a smaller home in the Hocking Hills.
This old home is getting a new barn/garage, as well as a cute little carport!
This Bexley bathroom will be added to what is currently an unfinished attic. We will be adding strategically placed windows to add natural light.
I am blown away. I was invited to speak to 5th grade ROX girls at Clinton elementary last week - to share my journey of becoming an architect, entrepreneur, and to describe what I do. EVERY girl there wrote me a personal thank you note. Such sweet, classy girls!!! They truly made my day….and i apparently “slay”. 😊

Developments on this new custom home! ...now in color.
Part of my new branding that Emma Peugh designed was this "stained glass submark". She didn't realize it at the time, but stained glass holds a lot of meaning to me.
The second photo is a picture of my Great Grandpa Beck's house that he built in Clintonville in the early 1900's. I remember visiting his house when I was about 6 - dressed up in a big bird costume, of course. The stained glass window left an impression on me - because it is unique and it was designed by a true craftperson.
Now, as an Architect, I try to design those sorts of special “moments” in the houses I design. Every house should have at least something special in it; a moment that is unique and personal. Something worth remembering that draws you from one space to the next.
Some of the final images of my new branding material!
Scale is so important on the inside and outside of any space. How tall will the space be? How wide? How will it feel when you're inside or out?
A sweet little pool house!
Quick "massing drawings" to help a client understand the overall shape and complexity of some different options.
