I fulfilled a dream and got to combine two of my passions - chalk art and board games - when I had the pleasure of doing a live chalk piece at for to promote their new game “From the Moon”. Final piece is 4’ x 4’, taking just under 2 hours. Thanks to all of the staff of HBG for inviting me out and welcoming me into their very busy booth! And thanks to all the wonderful Columbus board gamers who stopped to chat and share their appreciation.

🐉🏳️‍🌈Happy Hops on High 2024, in ! This special extra-big is celebrating the kick-off of Pride month with a festival full of art, music, and unique merchants. I broke out all the bright colors to chalk up this rainbow-inspired dragon, which turned out to be a lot of fun. Thanks to the for inviting me to be part of this great event.

Happy last day of school Maryland Elementary in ! I am so honored and excited to have been invited out once again to help add some color to the annual Field Day festivities! I started off with my rockin’ alien and the kids took it from there! Beautiful weather and some wild imaginations have made this one of my favorite events. Have a great Summer !

Congratulations to Cruz as he moves on from New Albany Intermediate School! The logo was fun to do, and it’s always a fun challenge to depict basket- and soccer- balls. Glad to be asked back to New Albany, once again, for this colorful event. It’s great to see all the wonderful tributes to some awesome kids!

May the 4th Be With You! One night, and one night only, live at the Mos Eisley Cantina, it’s Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes! These Bith Masters of Music will be entertaining guests all night long, playing all your favorites from across the galaxy! You’ll never find a more righteous jive of strum and dance-ability! Please, no droids or blasters.

So excited to be part of the Chalkworks at the Big Science Celebration today! Great to have art represented alongside all of the great hands-on science demos and exhibits. Also great to see and meet some fantastic chalkers, and to interact with the very engaged crowd. Each of the 6 pieces created today will be displayed in the COSI gallery through September, so come check them out!

I had a wonderful time at the Gables Elementary in north Columbus for their annual Art Show. I was invited to create a live piece on stage while guests viewed the gallery of student art and participated in the raffle fundraiser. I loved meeting everyone and seeing such a great turnout in support for young artists. Thanks for having me out!

…. And we’re back! Happy ! This is my tribute to the that is coming Monday, my own interpretation of the Celestial Dragon who will devour the sun. I was so excited to jump back into chalking after taking the winter months off, and thanks to the Short North Arts District for inviting me back out for another great Hop!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! This year’s family card was inspired by my hope that amidst all the hustle and bustle, everyone gets at least one quiet moment to just relax, enjoy a hot beverage, and enjoy the season.

Happy Highball Halloween 🎃! I was so excited to be invited to chalk this piece for in downtown Columbus! The rain held off (barely) and the street light came on at just the right time, and the street surface itself… well, it had all the cracks, textures, and crevasses that make street art that much more interesting and fun than working on a nice, smooth, primed canvas. Happy OCT-ober in the Short North at the Gallery Hop! 🐙 Spooky season is always a fun time to chalk, and there’s just something extra fun about drawing tentacles. Thanks to the for having me out on such an artful autumn afternoon.

Chalk the Block 12 is in the books! This battle fish and aquarium knight were a lot of fun to draw, and the weather and crowds were the perfect combination today. Thanks to everyone who came out to say hi and sit in my chairs while I worked. ;) All the great art will be here at through tomorrow afternoon if you get a chance to come view in person.

So excited to be back for another awesome Teen Chalk Walk at the Black Swamp Arts Festival in Bowling Green, Ohio! For the past 6 years, I’ve had the honor to come up and do a feature chalk piece and then interact with and help guide several teams of high school chalk artists. The work these first-time chillers produced were amazing, and everyone had worked hard and fun. Already getting excited for next year!

The September Gallery Hop in the Short North was a wonderful time. Despite the heat and the OSU game (or maybe because of them…) the entire community was out and in great spirits. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat, take photos, or just appreciate some art in unexpected places. Thank you to the for having me out to have some fun on their sidewalk.

I had a lot of fun doing my own riff on the these lil’ pigs for in Columbus. Looking forward to seeing these up soon in their outdoor display cases (and picking up some bbq while I’m there…)

Here there be dragons! in beautiful Somerset, PA, is bigger and more colorful than ever! We got to chalk the streets this year, so I decided to use all the pavement I could! 34 feet from claw to tail, 7 hours total. The weather was fantastic, the crowds appreciative, and the art and music was inspiring. Thanks for having me back out, and looking forward to next year!
