Blood Oath Pact No. 10 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the latest release in the Blood Oath series, created by Lux Row Distillers’ Master Distiller John Rempe. This special edition marks the 10th anniversary of the Blood Oath series and features a unique double cask finish, first in Cabernet Franc barrels and then in Merlot casks.

The bourbon blend includes two well-bred ryed bourbons and one finished bourbon, each complementing the others. The Cabernet Franc barrels impart flavors of tart raspberries and black pepper, while the Merlot barrels add notes of red stone fruits, vanilla, cocoa, and anise. This creates a complex, fruit-forward profile with a smooth, layered drinking experience.

Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV), Blood Oath Pact No. 10 is described as having a brilliant orange appearance with a thick rim and slow legs. The nose reveals ripe berries, vanilla, and a hint of oak, while the palate offers a light yet full texture with flavors of oak, to***co, chocolate, and fruit, finishing with a medium-long duration of cherries, plums, and black pepper.
