Feature Highlight: The Rowe Collection

Here are a few snaps of the CF Kent Olympics. You heard it—we’re athletes. All jokes aside, we value team building, and these have been so much fun. The event includes our entire staff, and teams are created at random.

Here’s our take on it:
1. Each team gets to come up with a creative name. For example, we had “Royal Flush”, “Gang Green”, and “Grillerz”.
2. There are about 6 games held over several months.
3. The games are typical party types like Pictionary, Co****le, Rubber Band Shooting, etc.
4. The games always require team effort and coordination.
5. The final game is held before Christmas, and every team receives prizes.

Even though we are quite a small company, not everyone gets to interact with people from other departments, especially in a social setting, so we find these great! Also, come to find out— many employees are HYPER-competitive and take these games very seriously, making it even more of a fun time.

The Lytle Park Hotel, Autograph Collection

One of a few of our contributions to this space included crafting the Barstools at Subito Restaurant and Bar inside hotel. The barstool has a curved wrap around seat back with channel tufting and solid wood tapered legs with satin brass sabots and foot rest.

We couldn't be here today without our team of passionate and collaborative members. Made Wise reminds us to come in each day with a question, keeping curious about "new", to be different. While carrying years of knowledge, we understand the world is changing at a breakneck place, and there will always be things we do not know... so we learn, stay open, and challenge ourselves. We strive to be wise in that regard, sometimes being the savvy person in the room doesn't always mean quick, but the quiet one who is learning with the value of needing to stay flexible and evolve.

Employee Spotlight:

I’m Anna Stein, Regional Sales Manager, and I oversee the company’s in-house sales and business development initiatives. I’ve been working at CF Kent since May 2017.

My day-to-day varies, but you’ll mostly find me meeting with customers or at an industry event.

Before joining CF Kent, I studied public relations at Syracuse University and built a career in sales selling a diversity of services and commodities including commercial development opportunities, payroll and employee benefits, and high-end jewelry.

Favorite aspect of my job? Our customers. The sense of community within the hospitality industry is truly unparalleled and I love that I get to spend every day collaborating with and learning from, people who over the years have become some of my closest friends.
