✨OPENING AUGUST 2023✨
•This has been in the works for a few months now and I’m so excited that I can finally announce that I’m going Independent!

•Starting August 2023 I will be working at IMAGE Studios Columbus and creating a space that not only represents me but allows for the ultimate luxury experience that all of my clients deserve. I will still be offering advanced facial treatments, relaxation massage, and waxing but will be adding on lash lift and tints, brow tinting and brow lamination!

•I am beyond excited and can’t wait to share more over the next couple of months, so stay tuned!

✨LAYERING SKINCARE✨
•After talking to many of my clients and recommending skin care I have realized many people don’t realize the correct way to apply their products and why it’s most effective to apply them this way. It should go like this:

-cleanser
-Toner
-Serums(Apply thinnest serum first and follow with thicker serums)
-eye creams/ gels
-moisturizer
-SPF

I think we all know that cleansing is the first step. In order for our other products to work, we have to get all the dirt and gunk off of our skin. At night do a double cleanse to ensure that all make up, SPF, and dirt is off of your skin. But why serum before moisturizer? And why thinnest products first?

• Basically the thinner the product the thinner the molecules are of the product. which means the deeper the product can pe*****te into your skin. since our serums are usually the products we are using ” to fix a problem” you want them to be able to pe*****te into the layers of the skin where the problem starts. If you apply a thinner product on top of a thicker product, the thinner product won’t be as effective.

• Applying your moisturizer last almost acts as a lid on top of your skin. yes, it does moisturize your top layer of skin a little bit, however its main purpose is to lock in all of the moisture and ingredients into your skin. 

• Lastly, but certainly not least is SPF. This should always be the last step of your routine in the morning in order for the SPF to actually protect your skin. To maximize protection, apply 2 fingers worth of product to your face and neck and make sure to reapply every two hours!

✨ADVANCED EXFOLIATION✨
•Advanced exfoliation includes services such as dermaplanning and chemical peels. These are great services year round but are particularly helpful to the skin during the winter.

•Because of the cold harsh air our skin tend to lose a lot more hydration then normal and needs a little bit of extra help maintaining a healthy glow.

•Dermaplanning (physical exfoliation) and chemical peels (chemical exfoliation) or a combination of both are a great option for this. These services help remove the excess dead skin cells and keep the skin rejuvenated.

•Add some good hydration on top of the exfoliation and your skin will thank you!
