Just a reminder that there will be an informational meeting regarding the relaunch of the TV West Academic and Athletic Booster Club tomorrow (Thursday) 4:00 in the school library. We would love to get a lot of input and ideas from our families!

Big shout out to our custodial and maintenance teams for all of their work. They are at it all summer getting our building in the best shape possible for our kids. Thank you Leonard, Rodney, Lacey, Ashley, Shanda, Derek, Perry, Brett, Kris and Rob for all you do!👊

Thanks to many generous donors, Teays Valley West Middle School was able to provide every student a free book. Students had over 750 titles that covered over seven different genres and included current titles and authors that are popular with our kids.

We were able to do this because of the generous donations (19 donors) and some purchases using funds from Book Fair profits.

Big shout out to Mrs. Seebauer for making this happen!

7th and 8th grade volleyball open gym this week has been changed from Wednesday to tomorrow (Monday) 4:30-6:00. Sorry for the change.

TVWMS is excited to announce the rebranding and relaunch of the West Academic and Athletic Booster Club. Our first meeting will take place on Thursday, June 20th at 4:00 in the library. This will be an informational meeting where we will review our bylaws, mission, and goals. We will also discuss the process of filling the board. Hope to see you there!

We held our end of year pep rally today. Spring sports athletes were honored, 8th grade won the dodge ball tournament, and the teachers once again won the student -teacher basketball game. Undefeated since 2009!

School counselor Mrs. Duchak completed her visits with 5th graders at South Bloomfield and Scioto today. We are excited for these kids to join the West family! 👊

The spring choir concert was tonight. The kids put on a great show!

Our LIFE (Learned it from Experience) Club held their end of year luncheon today. These kids spend a lot of time spreading cheer and helping others by tutoring, being new student ambassadors, and decorating locker and the halls. . We appreciate all they do. Thank you Mrs. Duchak for leading them!

Congratulations to these students who have earned all A's this year! They were honored this morning at our Breakfast of Champions event.

West held an assembly with all 6th and 7th graders to share information about participating in athletics today. We reviewed student/parent checklist items including Final Forms, sports physicals, and academic eligibility along with what it means to be a student athlete. We introduced each fall coach who discussed their expectations, upcoming dates, summer camps, and other information. It was a great opportunity to get students engaged and excited for fall sports, especially what it means to represent Teays Valley West and our community with class. Big shout out to our AD, Clay Blackburn for organizing. 👊

Due to large numbers, volleyball open gyms will be split by grade level. 8th grade (current 7th graders) will take place on Mondays, 7th grade (current 6th graders) will take place on Wednesdays. Information regarding summer open gyms will be sent out soon.
