Some studies have shown that up to 70% of all horses, in a variety of disciplines, have developed ulcers at some point.
Ulcers can be tricky to diagnose due to a wide range of symptoms anywhere from mild to severe. If your horse shows signs of poor appetite, poor body condition, sensitivity to girthing, or displays a flighty or crabby attitude, then it's time to talk to your veterinarian about the possibility of ulcers.

With the first snow storm of the season in full swing, we wish everyone a safe weekend!
We took advantage of the storm today and put together over 200 information pamphlets on our custom equine medications and new omeprazole paste. They will be mailed out on Monday to horse owners across New England!
