Full job description
As a Medical/Office Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical spa. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Ensure clients forms are filled prior to their appointment patients
Confirm Appointments
Organize and schedule appointments
Draw labs and arrange laboratory services (medical assistant)
Check with patients and type up patients charts if needed
Assist during medical examinations if needed (medical assistant)
Promptly answer the phone, return patient phone messages and emails, and make confirmation calls in a professional and courteous manner
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms if needed
Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
Prepare patients for consultation, evaluation, and treatment
Provide detailed descriptions of S&N Aesthetics weight loss programs, med spa services, products, facility features, and hours of operation
Clean and prepare exam rooms which include restocking medical supplies and educational materials

Skills
Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Schedule:
8 hour shift (Part time or Full Time)
