🍎 Last month, five of our branches hosted collection drives for great organizations such as The Hampton Community Coalition, Operation Blessing, Whole Village Family Resource Center, End 68 Hours of Hunger, and Dover Children's Home.

🤝 Nearly 800 items were collected thanks to your support, helping these respective organizations carry out their mission!

💵 Over 600 students from across 7 local schools joined us at Pinkerton Academy for our Bite of Reality fair, teaching students the importance of budgeting, credit scores, expenses, and more!

📊 With the help of 4 other local credit unions, students were given a mock career, salary, and credit score.

💻 The students were then tasked to spend their income on expenses such as housing, food, clothing, children, luxuries, and more while attempting to not go over budget, teaching them skills that will last a lifetime!

🍪 In the Keene area this month? Swing by our branch and support our branch collection drive benefitting Feeding Tiny Tummies, a non-profit that fights against childhood hunger.

🤝 We are collecting food items that can be used as a snack for children.

🎂 Our Nashua branch is 10! We opened our doors to the Nashua community on this day back in 2014 -- what was your favorite memory from that year?

🏫 Earlier this week, Service Credit Union participated in Spangdahlem High School’s Adulting 101 Event, where we led four separate sessions teaching financial literacy.

📖 The students learned about different types of credit, the relationship between credit reports and scores, how to establish credit and use it wisely, and how financial goals and budgeting support responsible credit usage!

🌹 The poppy became the official flower of the American Legion, used to honor our fallen troops, after World War 1. Following the war, the poppy flower spread across Europe, which was later attributed to the soil being enriched with lime left by rubble from the war.

❤️ This month, our Plymouth branch will be hosting a collection drive for Whole Village Family Resource Center, an organization that connects the community with the support and resources they need to raise a child.

🏖️ We are looking for items such as lunch boxes, beach towels, water bottles, and sunscreen.

🐶 Our Laconia branch successfully ran a branch drive for Darbster Doggy last month, collecting over 100 items for a great organization that shelters and cares for dogs in need!

🐶 Throughout the month of May, our Concord branch will be hosting a collection drive to benefit the Pope Memorial SPCA.

🤝 If you want to help your community, we are looking for items such as pet food, toys, and cleaning supplies!

Members of our Service Credit Union team had a fantastic time working with Habitat for Humanity last week!

🍎 Our Falmouth, MA branch has been collecting non-perishable food items for the Falmouth Service Center, an organization that works to ease stress, reduce hunger, and improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need.
