Boyce Highlands is seeking a Forklift Operator to join the production team at our Concord, NH facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in or around manufacturing facilities or industrial warehouses. This individual will be responsible for loading and unloading material from trucks, helping to keep our storage facility organized, staging material for production, and other various tasks that necessitate a forklift.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Requirements Include:
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination

Boyce Highlands is seeking a motivated individual to join our Maintenance and Repair team. This individual will be responsible for keeping the facility operational and repairing any problems that may arise. The Maintenance and repair worker will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. This includes both indoor and outside maintenance of the facility, routine maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, some electrical work, and correcting potential safety hazards. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the maintenance field, a solid mechanical understanding, and a willingness to learn. This individual must also be capable of standing for periods of time and have the ability to lift materials in excess of 25lbs.

The ideal applicant will have experience in the wood products manufacturing industry, a strong understanding of the machinery, and an attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a detail oriented individual, capable of maintaining machinery and material quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.

• General knowledge of the machinery, processes, and functions.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures.
• Order Fulfilment; this includes job set up, supervising order runs, quality control, and certifying that requirements of the order/job are met.
• Follow good housekeeping procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Execute written instructions/procedures.
• Record required data accurately and on a timely basis.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in a respectful, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

This position is responsible for producing and finishing solid wood products using advanced machinery, hand tools and sanding equipment. Production needs include but are not limited to customer orders, inventory, and product samples.

It is the responsibility of the shipping team to ensure that all orders are sent to the correct locations, with accurate labeling, and safe packaging. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong verbal and written communication skills capable of processing customer orders using our production software, while maintaining customer relationships.
