Winter and cold weather riding is around the corner. Or maybe here depending on location. Our handguards are just enough to take the chill off and be able to run a thin glove. We’ve got some new accessories for the guards up on our store for you all. The larger washer allows for a stiffer interface with the bracket, which some may prefer for DH/Park or Ebikes. Stock guards will still ship with original washers. Both options work great. If you run Double Down or Downhill Tires, you can request the heavy duty washers. If you run regular tires, stick with the stock washers.

We designed our guards with a hinged clamp that allows for quick and easy install/removal, while only taking up 12mm of handlebar space. Our hand guards started from our motorcycle background and we’ve always wanted something that was mountain bike specific. After a few years of trying some different options, we finally settled on what we liked. We tested with prototypes through all four seasons and found that we loved them best for tall brush and weeds in the summer and for wind protection in the winter. We know you all have been anxious to get your hands on some guards. Know that when production ran out, we decided to make a few changes on the guards and we are currently waiting for shipments to come in. Time is TBD due to COVID (though we hope to have them within the next 30 days),, but we will let you all know as soon as possible when we get guards back in.
