Using we are not only able to measure the degrees of rotation, and how that golfer turns, but we can use it to help train them to use the proper muscles to achieve this motion.

What we saw here was an over rotation at the top of the backswing with a reverse spine angle. After using this technology with the golfer we were able to achieve him feeling these correct muscles activating to get into this position.

And believe me, this type of training is a workout!

Not all exercises are created equally. Instead of stationary exercise machines, get up on your feet and utilize cables and free weights.

Rear leg elevated split squats our one of our favorite lower body exercises.
Allowing maximum force on a single side.
The body and weight position makes this safer then a typical barbell squat while also focusing on stability and balance.

Single sided exercises are extremely important in athletic performance.

I had such a great time last week presenting to the golf pros. The room was filled with instructors who were wanting to learn more, to help their students get better at the game of golf. I really appreciated all the great questions I got regarding how the body impacts the flight of the ball, as well as my pitching lesson from Krista! Improve your posture and build lower body and core strength with the Kettlebell Deadlift.

We know a lot of you have a kettlebell at home collecting dust. Put it to work! Using an elevated kettlebell is a great way to learn to deadlift, a staple exercise in most FitGolf Programs.

Start light and perfect your technique before going “heavy.”

FitGolf Update!

Back in September Hurricane Ida destroyed our Headquarters and Philadelphia location along with everything in it. You can see the insane water levels in this picture. We’re so fortunate that it’s our business, not home, unlike so many Conshohocken residents ☹️

It was a blow, but not a knockout. The silver lining is we secured a new location that we consider a huge upgrade! We can’t to share it with you all in the coming weeks.

For now, we play the role of painters and assemblers, but can’t wait to get back to helping golfers feel and play better.
