Juvvy Philly!!
Over the weekend something strange happened to us...We were minding our own business, doing our thing, when all of a sudden it was made clear that Saint Patrick would like us to go to Mass and a talk by a priest on his feast day.
Strange...I know. Did anybody else have this happen to them?
However, when the above was made clear to us, we were relieved that we planned to do our 3rd Friday Scripture Study with Father Gismondi this Friday, March 17th.

Juvvy Philly...what's going on?!?!?!
What you have finally been waiting for: the details on our relaunch are here.
But first, we want to take a moment to introduce ourselves.
First, of course, we have our fearless leader Father Gismondi, Pastor of Saint Mary Church.
And now we have a three-headed beast for a leadership team (left to right): Eric Reisenbuckler, Hana Britland, and Charlie Marcozzi. We are very excited to revive Juventutem Philadelphia! We have been working closely with Father Gismondi and we have some BIG ideas planned that you won't want to miss. We will give you a taste of what we have planned at our event below!
We would also like to take this moment to thank the previous leaders of Juventutem Philadelphia for the hard work and effort they have put in to make this group a success for the past 4-5 years. Monica Clarke, Anne Nyaga, Jeremiah Belocura, and Christopher Gallagher we tip our hat to you!
Now for the details on our first event!!
What: Scripture Study led by Father Gismondi with social time, pizza, and dessert
When: Friday, January 20, 2023 after the 6:30 PM Mass (around 7:15 post meridiem - we like latin, right?)
Where: St. Mary Church Rectory Ballroom
Yep, you read that right. We are switching our third Saturday events to Friday night and will be doing them up in the rectory where the surroundings won't suck the energy out of us...
Father will most likely be walking us through one of the Gospels, so bring your Bibles!
Also, it is BYOB. Since we will be getting food, please RSVP at the link below by the end of Thursday, Jan. 19th so we know how much food to get. We are also requesting a $10 donation to offset the cost of pizza, dessert, and supplies. Depending on how that goes we may lower that amount in the months to follow.
