The truest statement

I know yesterday was International Womens Day.
But today is the day that I’m gonna give it and the women in my life the credit they deserve, never ask for, and rarely get.
If you don’t have women that support you in your life, let me tell you something, you have no idea what you’re missing out on.
This girl gang that I’ve been lucky enough to be surrounded by is nothing short of incredible. My group consists of the silliest, funniest, smartest, hardest working, most beautiful women I will ever have the joy of knowing.
They’re entrepreneurs, business women, health experts, moms, wives, sisters, and daughters. All of that is important. But what’s most impressive about these women is how they rally. When s**t hits the fan, they step the F up. Always.
I love them. And I know they love me.
They prove it all the time.
So Happy International Womens Day to my girl gang, and to every woman who has brought joy to my life, or who has taught me much needed lessons.

The plan right now is to keep my schedule as is, unless I’m just REALLY not feeling up to it.
I am however going to open up an extra Monday and Tuesday in March (14th & 15th) for shifting people down if I’m not well enough to see that many clients.
As of right now I am extremely booked my first week back, which I freakin love, but I’m a little anxious about.
When the time gets closer, if I’m not able to take on that challenge I will contact you and move you to one of those days if I can. You receiving the best service I can provide is and always will be my #1 priority. If I don’t think I can offer that to you, we’ll get you in at a time that I know I can.

The support and love all of you have shown me over the last couple of months has been nothing short of incredible. I love and appreciate you all more than you could ever know.

Y’all know I’m transparent or at least try to be.
So, the weather has forced me to reschedule surgery. Again.
Now I’m scheduled for February 15th, it’s officially in the planner in PENCIL. I’m moving forward like nothing has changed.
I will not be rescheduling your appointments again, unless I just absolutely physically cannot work on the dates you’re booked. If that should happen, I’ll be opening my books for extra days to try to accommodate everyone.
I’ll do everything I can to keep my schedule as is. I’m just praying that the downtime I’ll have will be enough. But as always, I’ll keep everyone posted on the situation. Sometimes life and weather can be a real bitch.

Well. I have some good news and some bad news.
Bad news first-My surgery was rescheduled for February 3rd bc my surgeon has covid.
Good news- I’m open for the month of January now!

As anxious as I was about actually having surgery, having to shift all of my clients around multiple times is so much worse.

The only thing I can do with the volume of clients that I have booked is let you reschedule yourself for January. I know that if I try to reschedule everyone myself, someone is inevitably going to slip through the cracks.
So, I will have to cancel your appointments in February and let you rebook online for a time that will work best for you this month.

My books are open for tomorrow and the rest of January. And I will be closed the month of February now.

Again. I am so so sorry. I know how annoying and inconvenient this is.
Please bear with me.

Hey friends!! Here’s a real long, real transparent post, buckle up.
As some of you may know, I was scheduled for a breast reduction surgery in April. I tend to hide my size well with sports bras and looser tops, but I do have and always have had large breasts. A DDD in fact. If you have ever seen me in person, you know that I am a relatively small woman. So aside from being cosmetically disproportionate, my neck and back are truly suffering under this weight. The longevity of my career as an esthetician not only can, but WILL be affected by this in the long run. So, here we are, having a breast reduction.
I asked to be put on a waitlist for any earlier openings, because spring is my busiest season and I hate to miss it. I got the call this morning that I could be bumped up to January 6th!! Like, in 2 weeks January 6th! Eeek! Also, YAY!
This means that I need to cancel my appointments for the month of January and early February as I won’t be able to work for a while. Anyone who’s been a client of mine knows how physically demanding sugaring is. So, I’ll be canceling everyone and letting you reschedule online for a time in February that works for you.
I truly appreciate your understanding and good vibes during this time. I’m scared, and excited, and I’m so ready to feel like I can do my job without discomfort for the first time!
