September is su***de awareness month, this year on September 23rd the Arkansas Hawgs will be at Ni**od Lake GS1 Pavilion at Carter Cove. We invite any veterans or first responders to come out to fish and eat lunch with us. We will be fishing on bank, kayaks, and boat. All gear will be provided by the team and sponsors. Sponsors have already been generous to hand out some giveaways as well. The kayak fishing community is embedded with military veterans and first responders from across the country. Many veterans and first responders have found that kayak fishing brings a sort of comfort and release from our everyday lives and we use this therapy to de-stress and find comrades that have similar interests to confide in. As you may know September is su***de awareness month so the KBT Series has partnered with Heros on the Water to host a month long event Nationwide in support of Heros on the Water and their great cause that the non profit organization has dedicated to our Veterans and First Responders. This event will be by donation you can register for as little as $5.00 If you just want to donate you are not required to fish we just want to thank you for donating to a great cause that many veterans and first responders love. We continue to have sponsors donate prizes for our anglers that register, all donations will be for Heros on the Water and their cause. Prizes will be given to the anglers that register. 1st place will automatically win top prize and rest of the prizes will be raffled to rest of the anglers. Prizes and sponsors will be shared through KBT Series page as they contribute to the cause. Winners will be announced on Oct 1st. This will be a Catch photo release tournament from bank,Kayak, or boat. Any measuring device may be used

Well, We hit the road for event in Indiana on Lake lie grass this weekend. Pre-fishing went pretty but tournament day for me was a dang good one. Caught over 30 fish but had a 12 inch minimum so only 11 was scoreable. Placing 7th overall with 130+ inches was a great thing for me. Can’t wait to do it again
Long story short, I drifted into a wasp nest and had to jump out the yak from being stung 😂
