Thank you Brenda Ardeneaux for inviting me to sit at your table for the Deliver Hope Women’s Brunch. It was so moving to hear Judge Troy Braswell speak. So many kids in our community grow up in situations most people could never imagine. Deliver Hope gives these young people confidence, love, understanding and support to guide them into a productive life. The work this organization is doing benefits the community and changes the life of young people.

Conway Business Owner Kim Slaughter Announces Campaign for State Representative

CONWAY, AR — Kim Slaughter, a Conway resident and business owner, announced her candidacy as a Republican for House District 56 in Faulkner County.

“I am excited to announce my campaign for Arkansas State Representative today,” said Slaughter. “For too long the people of District 56 have had a State Representative who does not vote the values of the district. Instead, he votes like Joe Biden and seldom shows up to work. When it was time to protect the lives of the unborn, Representative Steve Magie voted NO, when it came to protecting children from chemical castration, he voted NO, when he had the opportunity to fight for women’s sports from biological males he voted NO, standing up for your religious liberty, he voted NO, protecting your children from obscene materials in public libraries, he voted NO, and during these tough economic times of high inflation, when he could have voted to cut your taxes, he did NOT even bother to vote. The people of District 56 deserve better.”

Slaughter also stated, “It is time we have a representative who will fight for the families of District 56 and be the firewall against the Biden-Harris agenda from Washington. I will always vote 100% pro-life, oppose any encroachment on our 2nd Amendment right, and I will never back down from protecting our children from the woke LGBTQ agenda. I will support lower taxes and cutting government waste, and I will show up to work to fight for the conservative Arkansas values that reflect the people of District 56.”

Kim Slaughter is the owner of Toad Suck Mini Golf and Blue Focus Marketing in Conway, Arkansas. Slaughter is the director and founder of Faulkner County Paw Friends serving the future Faulkner County Animal Shelter. She is an active volunteer and activist in the community, helping organizations such as Harbor Home, Bethlehem House, CASA, and Deliver Hope. In 2017, Slaughter received the Women in Business Award from the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce and attended the Conway Area Leadership Institute in 2018. She and her husband John reside in Conway, Arkansas, and have four Chihuahuas. They attend church at New Life Pentecostal Church in Vilonia, Arkansas.
