Lemme tell you a story. A long time ago, in the late 1980's there was a lady who began a small business off the old highway in North Little Rock, AR. She worked every single day, by herself at this new business. She wrote the invoices, she swept the floors, she loaded the trailers, she mowed the lawn, she handled the money, she fixed the leaks, she showed up sick, she showed up at 3am to load out customers who had long distances to travel. She did it all, and, as a result, the little business grew. For 12 long years the business slowly made strides. From the beginning when we had to wait for other companies to take 1/2 truckloads so we could take the other 1/2. When competitors like Harris Siding Supply (Thanks Merlin and Vicki) would make joint VanMark or TAPCO buys so we could fill an order minimum. To the opening of our 2nd branch in Conway, or the 3rd one in Russellville, or even the 4th one in Jonesboro, she has always been there to lead, to work hard, and to keep what is now a small mid size business on the straight and narrow. Now, 35 years later, she has taken a little step back. Still active, but not always there day to day. The lessons she taught both me and her "other" son Andy and even her 3rd "less attractive" son Jesse are used every single day. Do what you say, when you say you will. Go the extra mile. Be ready to listen. And finally, the most important one, Be honest in ALL your dealings. We here at Premium want to give the biggest and bestest HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our matriarch. The lady who got it all started and continues to do amazing things every single day, my mom, Kathryn Ann Keesee Bowman. Thanks for being the best mom I could hope for. Thanks for kissing the boo boos, for the home cooked meals, for scrabble games and Mom n Greg days. I love you very very much. Happy Birthday!

The DOG DAYS of summer. We get this phrase from the Romans who noted that in late July the star "Sirius" appears near the sun in the sky. "Sirius" is also known as "Alpha Canis Majoris" or "Dog Star". The Roman used the phrase "dies caniculares" meaning "Days of the Dog Star" to describe this hottest time of year. Now, we just day the dog days of summer.
Summertime is a fantastic time to upgrade the exterior of your home. Unlike brick or metal, vinyl siding and composite materials have a small, but helpful R Value. And when its 110 outside, every little bit of R helps.

We've been doing this for over 35 years. We know the contractors that can help you. We also know the ones who will hurt you. Beware of knock-offs and out of town contractors who won't be around when something goes wrong. Beware pop up manufacturers and lumber yard windows, they're low quality and usually don't match the specs that are claimed.
There are a lot of "bad apples" out there trying to take your money. No matter where you live, or who you use, ask questions. Do your homework on contractors and suppliers alike. Be vigilant.

We are a supply house that furnishes high quality specialty building materials to the river valley and much of west central AR. We have 5 branches throughout the state (Russellville, Conway, NLR, Jonesboro and Monticello) and are planning on several more in the next few years. Managers must be punctual, reliable, honest, have transportation (truck is a plus but not required) and have some with basic ability to fill out spreadsheets and invoices. Forklift experience is also a plus, but again, not required. We're a family owned business which has been operating for over 35 years. We are open M-F from 730am til 4pm. We have a warehouseman that is available part time to help, but some lifting is required. Salary $36k to start. Premium Siding will be CLOSED on FRIDAY December 23rd due to the incoming awful weather and the fact that nobody needs to be hanging siding when its 20 degrees with negative wind chills.

Premium Siding Supply is the culmination of hard work by Don & Kathy Bowman. In 1989 they decided that the best way to ensure their retirement and a future for their family was to begin their own business. Kathy had worked for several years in the building materials business at Planters Lumber Co. and at Georgia Pacific Corp. Don had worked as an Auditor for the great State of Arkansas and was savvy of all the taxes and regulations that plague small business. Between the two of them they built up enough capital to buy a small nondescript warehouse on the outskirts of North Little Rock. Kathy ran the day to day operations, for several years by herself, and Don would do the accounting and building maintenance nightly.
The first few years were tough. Premium was the smallest fish in a very big pond. Their competition were giants in the industry. They knew their business had to be nimble and provide the very best in customer service to succeed. And that’s just what they set out to do. Over the years the business grew. Premium became known for its personalized attention to detail and their willingness to go the extra mile. From loading out orders at 3:30 am on a Sunday, to delivering trim coil over 800 miles to Jacksonville, FL (coil for that job was mistakenly delivered to Arkansas) whatever the issue, the folks at Premium Siding did their level best to make it right. The business grew, and hired on a warehouseman, and eventually an assistant manager who helped shape what Premium has become.
In 2000, Premium Siding expanded its lines and began a new chapter in its business life and became Premium Supply, a Limited Liability Company. On January 17th, 2001 Premium opened its first ever branch warehouse in Conway, AR under the direction of their young son Greg Bowman. With Conway experiencing unparalleled growth, the branch performed better than anyone could imagine. In just a few short years they again expanded, this time into Russellville, AR. With little competition in the area, that branch too, did exceedingly well.
Now here we are, almost 30 years after the beginning. The home office has been relocated to Conway, AR. Premium Supply, LLC now has 5 locations of its own with a 6th satellite location in Monticello under its umbrella. The original location is still going strong in North Little Rock under the direction of “Chief of Stuff” Andy Johnson, the Conway location has blossomed under the hard working style of Manager Jesse May. Russellville is still thriving under the steady hand of Manager Dan Tullos. Larry Jones is the owner/operator of SouthArk Siding Supply in Monticello, and has done a fantastic job all over southeast Arkansas. Our Jonesboro branch is finally starting to gain some ground in northeast Arkansas with Manager Greg Prunty, and most recently our Benton branch has taken off under the leadership of Manager Bill Messick.
