Hi Ladies - we hope to see you tomorrow!

SUNDAY MESSAGE SERIES:
How do I recognize God's voice? How often should I pray? How do I know God hears me? Can I really ask for anything I want? Is there a specific way I am supposed to pray?

Over the next few Sundays we are going to answer these questions and look at some precious prayers found in God's Word. Our aim is to understand God's perspective on prayer and how we can become people who sincerely talk to God and not just talk at Him.

ONECHURCH family, this weekend we are trying to pack 272,000 meals with Feed My Starving Children and Tacos 4 Life. We have two packing sessions that are really low and WE NEED YOU!

I know that you have signed up to help Sunday and I am so grateful. If you would happen to have time tonight or tomorrow, we could use the help.

Tonight, Friday, August 23 from 6:30-8:30

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 24 from Noon til 2pm

No need to sign up, just show up and we'll put you to work. And by all means, feel free to invite a friend.

D GROUP KICK OFF - August 11th Following Worship

Oh how we have enjoyed the summer but we are looking forward to starting D Groups back soon! Whether you have been a part of a D Group for years or if you have never been before, we have a place for you.

D Group is a 45-minute Bible Study time after worship where we talk about whatever was just preached about. It is a time for us to share thoughts and questions and we always use God's Word as our ultimate guide. D Groups usually range in size from 8 folks to more than 20 and they do more than Bible Study; they live life together. Whether backyard cookouts, ministry opportunities, or serving together, D Groups are where ONECHURCH becomes family!

At ONECHURCH we value D Group because we value relationships!

SUNDAY - Proverbs stands as one of the most practical yet deeply principled books in the Bible. It is simple enough for a wade but deep enough for a swim. Within Proverbs we find instruction, warning, and challenges to rise towards godliness in all areas of our lives.

This Sunday we will read Proverbs 20-21 together and I will preach about Biblical Principles concerning GOD'S JUSTICE!
