Men who once lavished mistresses with luxury breaks and bling are now being forced to cut back, probably to fund increased costs of running their family homes. Our members have admitted there has been a massive reduction in the treats and gifts they’re getting from their partners – both male and female. But mistresses especially are definitely taking a hit when it comes to luxuries being lavished on them.”

Despite what we’ve been led to believe, the timing of evening screen use, rather than the activity itself, negatively impacts youth sleep.

Current sleep guidelines recommend no screen use in the hour or two before bed. However, the researchers found screen time in the two hours before bed had little impact on youth sleep, it was screen time once in bed that caused problems.

This was particularly true for more interactive screen activities like gaming and multitasking – when more than one device is used at the same time, such as watching a movie on Netflix on a laptop while playing Xbox on a gaming device.

“Every additional 10 minutes of this type of screen time reduced the amount of sleep they got that night by almost the same amount."

A ‘simple’ sleep guideline – in theory but not necessarily reality – would be for devices to be kept out of the bedroom, allowing teenagers to use their devices before bed, but not in bed.

The "Daily Mail" leaked pictures of what is likely a FAKE contract which details when the breakup will be announced and how it will be managed. It says the announcement will be, quote, "gracious, respectful and stress mutual respect."

It will also state that Taylor and Travis are, quote, "both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best."

The document was supposedly drawn up by a Los Angeles P.R. firm called Full Scope, but they're DENYING it came from them, and threatening to get their lawyers involved.

A new survey by Mirror reveals that 41% of parents are too embarrassed to give people rides in their messy cars. Other findings:

- most common messes in cars … crumbs (65%), drinks (60%), and bits of cookies (55%)
- 54% of parents clean their car's interior once a month
- 15% of parents have banned their kids from bringing food and drink into their cars
- 27% of parents have considered making their car completely off-limits to their kids

A survey found that 50% of respondents say they feel sad at the thought of summer ending. 63% said they wish summer lasted longer and a third of those who don’t want summer to end wish it lasted two months longer. And for some, it will. 54% of respondents said they plan to remain in summer mode even after the season is over.
Here's what those surveyed said they’ll miss most about summer:
1. Warm weather – 52%
2. Wearing fewer layers of clothes – 45%
3. Summery fruit – 38%
4. Barbecues – 34%
5. Eating ice cream – 33%

TOP 5 THINGS TO KNOW TODAY… on the Freak Show in the Mornings: Most Parents Are Happy to Have Their Adult Kids Love Back Home, But... Will They Ever Leave?...

Eighty-five percent of parents whose kids previously moved out are happy they return home.

A survey of 2,000 parents of kids in their 20s who live at home aimed to figure out what this experience of having their 20-something children at home has been like and uncovered some interesting trends.

Four in 10 had children who initially moved out (42%) — while 58% said their children have always lived at home.

A majority recall their child asking to move back in because they couldn’t afford to live on their own or wanted to save money.

Half of all parents surveyed said their child still lives with them because of the current economic climate.

Convenience also plays a factor in why adult kids are living at home, along with wanting to be close to their family.

While 45% surveyed said that their child moving back in has improved their relationship, taking care of their kids is taking a toll on parents.

A quarter of those surveyed admit they weren’t financially prepared to have their child live with them in their adult years.

29% shared that their child rarely or never contributes to the household financially, which may be adding to the major financial strain 34% have felt over the past year.

One in five said having their adult child live at home has had a negative impact on their own financial planning or retirement plans.

On average, parents estimate that their kids will remain under their roof for another 16 months, while a third of respondents aren’t sure how long their children will stay.

46% of parents surveyed expressed worry about their child’s ability to be financially independent.

A new poll asked people if they've ever dined on roadkill, and 6% said YES. They didn't ask how regularly this happens, so it's unclear how many of them are enthusiastic about it, and how many were one-and-done.

89% of people said NO they've never dined on roadkill . . . and 5% of people said they're "not sure." Interestingly, eating roadkill was more common among younger adults under 44 (9%) . . . compared to folks 45 and older (3%).

27% of people say they're fine with people collecting roadkill for personal use . . . while 33% say they believe it should be illegal.

48% of people say they have been in a vehicle that has hit an animal... unintentionally OR intentionally. 47% claim they haven't. And 5% say they're not sure.

Midwesterners were most likely to have hit an animal.

The Sun says a study by Loughborough University reveals that watching sports from your sofa burns as many calories as exercise. Fans can burn up to 540 calories by fidgeting, jumping, air-punching, and shouting during a 90-minute game.

- 42% of fans experience an increased heart rate from an adrenaline rush and the inability to sit still.
- 59% of sports fans feel like they've had a workout just by watching their favorite team.

A new study involving 1,600 participants found that nightmares could be a signal of another problem: Loneliness. Researchers found that lonelier individuals reported more disturbing nightmares, and had them more often. Persistent worry and hyperarousal, or being in a state of alertness, were two factors linking lonely individuals and their unpleasant dreams. “When people’s need for strong relationships goes unmet, they suffer physically, mentally and socially,” Colin Hesse of Oregon State University said. “Loneliness has evolved to alert individuals when their needs for interpersonal connection are going unfulfilled.” (Study Finds)
