MYTH 1: ACTIVITY EQUALS RESULTS. From my extensive experience as a life coach and trainer, I am perplexed by many of my clients who equate a lot of activity, hard work, struggling, and strain with results. Just because you’re moving, doesn’t mean you are moving in the right direction or in the right manner. You must know what you want first of all to have direction. You must also know the secrets of the ones who have traveled the journey in less time and with less effort so you stay focused and dedicated along the way. I am here to help you can get from where you are right now to where you want to be in an easier, simpler, and more enjoyable process than you ever imagined possible. You don’t have to work harder to get results. Just work smarter. Killing yourself in the gym, beating yourself up mentally with negative self-talk, and eating little to nothing will not get you the results you want. It will only burn you out, and lead you to give up. Rather, being persistence and choosing to be fit one day at a time, plus thinking positive with an “I can do it” attitude will give you results. By the same token, people spend hours in the gyms because they think they have to punish themselves into getting results. Being healthy is not about punishment. It’s about giving fresh blood and oxygen to all the cells of your body. It’s about eating optimally to boost your mental acuity, blast fat, tone muscle, and
balance your emotions. Being healthy makes you happier while you’re losing weight and building endurance and stamina, as well as sleek and sexy muscle tone. And you wont lose weight by torturing yourself with difficult to do exercises which will cause injury, thus placing you further away from your weight loss goals. So many people aren’t seeing the results they want because they’re still living life with the outdated and unhelpful belief system that the harder they work, the more results they’ll get. 🎉🎊New Year’s Party Survival Guide🎉🎊

Ok, we all know tonight your going to drink (and eat) more than you should. And tomorrow you're going to feel guilty. It happens every year.

And then you swear*THIS YEAR* will be different. This is the year you will get in shape for reals. (I've got a surprise for you, more on that soon.)

Well let me tell you a fact that will make you feel a bit better:

One day of excessive drinking/ eating will not make you fat, just like one day of eating right and exercising will not make you lean.

It just doesn't work that way. It's what you do the other 90% of the time that counts. It's what you do every day - not every once in a while that really matters.

So you are allowed the occasional bout of over-doing it. It's fine and you'lI be fine.

Obviously don't be stupid. Be responsible, stay safe, and have a plan to get where you need to be if you plan and having anything to drink. But don't beat yourself up over one night of revelry.

With that said you can use these quick tips to avoid overeating at your New Years party:

A plate of appetizers is considered a meal. Don’t load up on appetizers and then sit down to a full meal.
Survey all of your food options before beginning to eat. Choose a few of your favorites and then fill the rest of your plate with greens.
Liquid calories count. Stick with only one calorie-filled drink and then switch to water.
Eat a sensible meal before you arrive at the party. This will cut down on party food calories.
