During our scavenger hunt, each child gets a gift! We are in need of teenage items. If you see any great deals for teenagers, we would love your support!

One of our biggest need for the Christmas Scavenger Hunt is VOLUNTEERS!
Without volunteers this event can not be successful.

We are looking for volunteers to work with families, serve cookies, make crafts, be in a lead in different areas of the event at the River.

Edit::: We have a great community! This foster mom and baby will have everything they need by tomorrow.
We always take baby items so if you'd still like to donate you are welcome to! I will be at the closet from 9-11 tomorrow and Thursday 11-3 on Thursday.

We have a foster mom getting a newborn baby who is only 5 lbs. We are in need of an infant carrier that can hold a baby that small, basinet, small Dr. Brown's bottles and some preemie clothes for a girl.

The 4th Annual Foster Family Christmas Scavenger Hunt is just a little over a month away. We can't hold this event without your support! Over the next couple weeks we will be posting our needs! Here's a breakdown of what we need

100 Women Who Care Cookeville is an opportunity for women to join together to pool funds and donate to causes that impact the Upper Cumberland area. Our goal is to get 100 women to donate $100 each quarter. $10,000 to nonprofit organization four times a year.

Please send age and season appropriate attire. We spend countless hours going through clothes. While you may have nice designer clothing, a teenager will NOT wear it!!
Teenage boys don't wear polos or button downs very often. They want T-shirts.
No dirty, smelly (including smoke) or bug infested clothing.
Short sleeves are fine but we will not be keeping tank tops or shorts at this time.
Try to match PJs before sending them.
If the clothes are something you would not put your child in anymore, we don't want to put a foster child in it.

DO NOT SEND used underwear or socks.
We don't give these reminders to be strict, but to ensure that our families and their children have the BEST experience possible while shopping at the foster closet!

We are so grateful for all of the donations we receive. It's a lot of work to go through it all and hang it up and we are so thankful for our volunteers!

We are FULL! This is a great problem to have. We have the most amazing community who loves and supports us tremendously.
We have a sign on the door so please don't try to sneak in. A volunteer recently had to turn someone away and it has come to our attention that she was rude and even cursed at our volunteer. She let us know she will never bring anything here again.
This is completely uncalled for.
Not only are we FULL, as you can see in the pictures, but, we are in the middle of trying to transition to fall attire.

Please understand, we are extremely blessed but only have so much room and so many hands. We have a great opportunity for you to volunteer if you would like to help be part of the solution.
