With some commercial projects, the installation is more about the speed and quantity than it is the quality. Since we do both commercial and residential work, our commercial projects are installed with the same great teams that do our residential projects, so the finished results show in the attention to detail. This project recently completed for J & S Construction used both residential casework in the lounge and commercial casework with stainless steel countertops in the kitchen.

We love the challenge when a project comes along that is not something that we commonly do. We were honored to partner with the Cookeville Art Studio and Gallery recently to give their gallery and lobby an updated look. They use carpet on the walls so that it is easy to change out their exhibits without repairing holes in the drywall. They are celebrating their Grand Re-Opening this afternoon from 4 to 6. Besides the great new look of the gallery, you can check out the artistic talent on display from CHS students.

Holiday hours...We will be closed the week of December 26 for the Christmas and New Years holidays. We will re-open on Monday January 2. Thank you for understanding and allowing our team to spend this time with their families during this season!

It was great to partner with J&S Construction Company on the remodel of the bathrooms at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Our team did a fantastic job starting with specifying the tile and countertop materials and ending with the quality (and very efficient) installation.

Cavender’s, LLC – The Interior Company is a locally owned business who has served the Upper Cumberland communities for over 25 years providing cabinets, countertops and floor covering. We are seeking a new full-time team member as a Warehouse / Delivery Associate with opportunity for growth. The hours are typically Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Our warehouse is the link between our design / sales team and the final installation of the products. Their handling and care of the product is crucial to the ultimate customer experience. We want a team member who will understand and appreciate the crucial role that they play in this process. Experience preferred but not required. We can provide all necessary training. Very competitive compensation available depending on experience.

The right candidate for this position will have the physical ability to lift objects that may be heavy at times repetitively during deliveries and will have basic reading / comprehension skills and basic numerical skills. Fork lift experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

It is with a heavy heart that we let you know of the passing of Margaret "Nana" Cavender, the mother of Ernie Cavender.
