Today, J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc, entered into a definitive agreement to purchase the brokerage operations of BNSF Logistics, LLC.

In addition to the third-party logistics services, BNSF Logistics also provides warehouse, retail specialty, heavy-haul, and project services, which are not included in the transaction.

Our OTR Team recently met for their mid-year meeting in Denver, Colorado 🌲⛰🌞

Many of our senior leaders and managers collaborated on solutions for strengthening customer relationships with departmental goals and objectives in mind.

With a good mix of guest speakers, engaging activities, and off-site events, this meeting was a huge success!

Last Friday, we said goodbye to our amazing interns! While they were only with us for 9 weeks, each and every one of them made a lasting impact on the organization.

In their final week, interns presented individual capstone projects to members of our senior leadership team. Following that, interns presented their group project on how to keep the momentum going in our 3-year strategy plan.

Recently, members from our Sales and Account Management teams met for an 8-hour interactive workshop focused on selling the supply chain offerings of BNSF Logistics.

The group participated in a role-play case study focusing their attention on the following outcomes:

➡ Mapping the supply chain
➡ Identifying common issues plaguing supply chains
➡ Creating sales opportunities
➡ Aligning our solutions with customers' desired results

To wrap up, each participant created a 30-60-90 day commitment for growth and expansion, directly aligning with our new 3-year strategy. Thanks to all the individuals who participated in this training!

Our Women in Leadership (WIL) Employee Resource Group has officially launched the 2023 Mentor Program!

This is the third year of WIL hosting a mentorship program. Mentees will gain insight into exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts, and identifying resources, while mentors will get the opportunity to build their capabilities as leaders of our organization.

We have a total of 33 participants this year! 20 mentees and 13 mentors will participate in the program for 6 months, concluding in mid-December.

Thank you to all the mentors for dedicating their time and insight!

Exposure and education are what the Freedom Drivers Project is all about. BNSF Logistics Springdale provided a time and space for Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) for that exact purpose last Monday.

Two television stations, the CBS and Fox NWA local stations, interviewed TAT to raise awareness. We had 45+ people tour the trailer in our 2 hours open and discussed what we as individuals can do to eradicate human trafficking.

We had special guests who share our passion for stopping human trafficking:
