Pretty much sums up the experience for the past one month or so!
A journey that brought in-depth knowledge of not only the recipe, but the techniques and nuances that make a moist and rich fruit cake!
A journey that made me learn and unlearn steps not just for this specific cake, but for all of them!

Well organized, perfect explanations, timely troubleshooting. And more!

This Bake-off 2022 has been very fulfilling and marvelous with the whole group pitching in at all times when someone was stuck at one point. With participants from all over the world, different time zones, It was wonderful to watch 200+ members join in to work on one “Recipe” from start to finish!

All said and done, it is not always the recipe that matters! It’s the right techniques followed and that’s what was learnt here!

Thank you Cheryl ( ) for this wonderful opportunity! Hats off to your selfless nature! It’s not easy to manage such a huge group and you did it in style! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

The love for baking!!! And when it turns out right!!! Rich fruit cake loaded with dried fruits which have been soaking in Rum for a year now, citrus peels and nuts! And of course basting again with rum! Boozy cake it is!!! 😂
