Star Metals Residences, the residential phase of our highly-anticipated mixed-use community in West Midtown Atlanta, has officially broken ground today. Designed by an award-winning team of architects and designers, the residences will feature modern and inspiring living spaces and a variety of amenities. Once complete, the overall 4.7-acre Star Metals Atlanta will encompass the residential component as well as Star Metals Offices, the 14-story, Class-A office tower totaling 260,000 square feet that includes 35,000 square feet of prime retail and restaurants that celebrate the history and character of West Midtown.

We at the Allen Morris Company are therefore especially proud now as we begin celebrating our 60th anniversary to have three of W. Allen Morris’ children working here.

Take hold of the “Male Torso”, a 1992 Fernando Botero masterpiece, standing 10-feet tall, as it gets hauled into its new home at SLS LUX Brickell. The bronze sculpture has previously been displayed at the Avenue des Champs-Elysees in Paris and Museum of Modern Art in New York.
