Day 4 Recap: One Firefly Annual Team Event! 🌟

On Thursday, August 1st, we wrapped up our Horizons event with a meaningful all-staff volunteer day in partnership with the RCD Foundation. Our team came together to paint a local school, providing all the supplies and workforce needed to give back to this beautiful community.

This project was incredibly close to our hearts, as many resort employees' children attend this school. It was a powerful way for us to stay proud, prosperous, and connected and give back to those who warmly welcomed us.

This is the second year we've hosted a volunteer event, and we couldn't be happier with the impact. Take a look at the memorable moments from this day!

Day 2&3 Recap: One Firefly Annual Team Event! 🌟

The momentum continued on Days 2 and 3 of our annual team event at the Andaz Mayakoba Resort in Riviera Maya, México. We started the days with various activities, including yoga, archery, kayaking, a pickleball tournament, and even hat painting—something everyone can enjoy!

Our learning sessions were just as diverse and enriching. Keith Esterly, Chief Learning Architect at HTSA, led an insightful presentation on customer service skills. At the same time, Andy Crestodina, Co-Founder and CMO at Orbit Media Studios, shared his expertise in SEO and AI skills. Our team members also had fantastic presentations, showcasing their knowledge and ideas.

Ron Callis and Taylor Whipple discussed our future state, laying out the exciting plans ahead. The team then broke into sessions to dive deeper into product innovation, process improvement, and marketing planning.

The days were wrapped up with delightful team dinners at the resort's beautiful restaurants, providing the perfect setting for bonding and relaxation after such productive days.

Day 1 Recap: One Firefly Annual Team Event! 🌟

This past Monday, July 29th, One Firefly kicked off its annual team event, Horizons: Illuminating Our Future, in the beautiful Riviera Maya, México, at the Andaz Mayakoba Resort.

The day was filled with growth, learning, and team bonding. The Leadership team participated in sessions focused on leadership skills, a team-building drawing exercise, and a management communication workshop led by Keith Esterly, Chief Learning Architect at HTSA.

Ron Callis, CEO, and Taylor Whipple, CFO of One Firefly, provided an update on the state of the business and outlined future goals. The day also included a salsa-making class, where the team learned to create authentic Mexican salsa. 🌶️

In the evening, the rest of the One Firefly team arrived for a warm welcome reception featuring great conversations, laughter, and a traditional Mexican buffet. 🍽️
