My beautiful daughter Victoria was at MSD Secondary school the day of terrible shooting that dismayed the entire country and the world, she was in building 13 right next to where all started, the horror that she and all of the students went trough on that February 14 is simply so unfair, inexcusable! Every child should feel save in their place of learning, at their schools, many of her friends did not make it and today we grieved, but we are all fighting, students and parents to make a difference, we would not stop this fight until every child has the privilege to be safe in their schools. No parents should feel terrified to send their child to schools. OUR SCHOOLS ARE NOT WORLD ZONE!!!’ The following are Victoria’s words:
I am glad that we as Douglas students are making change! I love all my fellow eagles 🦅 I stand with my schools through think and and thin❤️ having the support of my best of friends and others makes my heart melt. I never thought this shooting would bring parkland together. Let alone the world❤️
