Decimal will have a booth for the Made in South Florida Showcase at this year’s SFMA Annual Meeting. We can’t wait to see everyone there and hear from the keynote speaker, Bob Chapman!⚙️👍🏼

The team had a great time at the expo this year! We got to see some amazing new products, as well as some innovations that are currently changing the industry!⚙️🤖

Last night we celebrated our 2023 SFMA Manufacturer of the Year win by taking a trip to the ballpark to watch the Marlins play the Rays! It was a great experience for the entire team! We had a blast, and even made an appearance on the Jumbotron too!⚾️🏟️

A good time was had by all and everyone's bellies were full. Just another way Decimal Engineering shows how much they appreciate all the hard work and dedication from their employees!!

Decimal Engineering is proud to announce the retirement of Master Tool Maker Bill Farrell. Bill came aboard when Decimal purchased the ABB division 2 years ago. Bill was very instrumental in helping Decimal in the transition with all the ABB parts. He also was heavily relied on in the quoting and designing. Bill right now is on a lake fishing and we wish nothing but rest and relaxation in his retirement and he will be truly missed!!

Decimal recently hosted Open Enrollment sessions for our employees featuring representatives from our medical insurance, 401k, AFLAC, and Tropical Credit Union. In a time when the health insurance marketplace is very volatile and costs are skyrocketing Decimal is proud to have not only absorbed the increase in health benefit costs but gone beyond that to lower the cost to our employees. We recognize the importance of health and well-being to our staff and are committed to partnering with them to make it affordable and accessible!

2021 Decimal XMAS Card

Decimal Engineering had their Christmas Picnic yesterday at TradeWinds Park. HR Manager Sara Piergrossi and Executive Assistant Lucy Cely put on an awesome event! The Picnic featured a Bounce House, Snow Cone Machine, Horse Shoes, Kick Ball, and Corn Hole. The menu was full blown BBQ with Cake and Cookies. There was also Cold beverages and festive music playing. The day was tapped off with President/CEO Alan Garey hosting the raffle with some awesome prizes with the Grand Prize a 65 Inch LG Flat screen TV!! With the last year and half with CoVid, it was finally great to get out and have a relaxing time and get to meet the other members of their coworkers families.

Decimal Engineering had their 1st ever Turkey Bowl this week. Each department got to give it their best bowl with the winner representing their department in the finals. 2nd and 3rd place got Honey Bake Hams with 1st place $100 cash!!!

The finals were neck and neck with
Thomas Beebe- 3rd Place
Victor Suarez- 2nd Place
Luis Deleon – 1st Place

The winner Luis got to take on the President/CEO Alan Garey in a Bowl off. Alan would match the $100 if he was defeated but with a kin eye and laser like focus Alan held off the worthy challenge of Luis to keep his $100.

HR Manger Sara Piergrossi and Executive Assistant Lucy Cely orchestrated this awesome event and it was a great bonding experience for the whole company and a great kick up to the Holiday season. Looking forward to next year’s Turkey Bowl!!!

All good things come to an end but not this time. Decimal’s Box truck has been cruising the South Florida highways dropping off and picking up parts for over 15 years. The old Box Truck was replaced this year with the New Decimal Box Truck and decommissioned from the fleet. President and CEO Alan Garey decided not to sell it but since it served Decimal Engineering so well he decided to donate the old Decimal Box Truck to Coastal Community Church in Parkland so now it can serve God!!
