Kayaking with Johnson County Conservation
Thursday, July 18, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: Kent Park Meet at the Kent Park Boat Ramp
*Registration and Permission Slip required* Limit 20
Learn the basics of kayaking on Kent Park Lake! Kayaks, PFDs (life jackets), and instruction provided. While kayaking, we’ll explore for wildlife and cool plants in the lake’s ecosystem. No prior experience needed. Students should wear clothes and sandals/shoes that can get wet, and should have sunscreen and bring a hat, sunglasses, or other sun protection if desired.
