We did a test bake of this one yesterday afternoon & I’m going to say something bold here….this one is my FAVORITE 🤩 like ever! seriously so good!

Butterscotch Chips
Sticky gooey Caramel Sauce spread on top of the butterscotch chips which helps to melt them all together

We tested a few variations of these at our Bettendorf location a few weeks ago & the cookie fam LOVED them. So now we are introducing some new flavors & bringing them to ALL locations!

This is what we have so far:
🍓Strawberry Shortcake Bar - vanilla sugar cookie with white chocolate chips base layered with golden oreos & gooey strawberry jam topped with THICK strawberry blondies, strawberry glaze & strawberry shortcake crumble.

Why does a Gourmet Cookie Company sell Cinnamon Rolls?!
While this company was born way back in 2020 - the dream started LONG before then.
I started baking for a living ALL the way back in 2010 as a fresh college graduate in a terrible job market as a way to exercise my creativity & make a few extra bucks. I became addicted to the joy of sharing my baked goods with friends, family & the community.
Over the past decade+ I have made nearly every bakery item you can think of. From sourdough bread to 5 tiered wedding cakes & everything in between. I have learned A LOT. Like a lot a lot. Made at least 3872987309 mistakes. And ultimately, I've been fortunate enough that thousands of you across the Midwest have enjoyed my baking as much as I do!
As a serial creative, entrepreneur & baker - I had the itch to do something different one day. I baked up a bunch of gourmet cinnamon rolls in flavors like Apple Pie, Creme Brulee, Cookies & Cream + more. We decided to test them in our Bettendorf store & the response was FANTASTIC. Seriously. Our cookie family SHOWED UP & we sold out within an hour on our first several weekends!

We decided to bring this to our stores company wide & there you go - a Gourmet Cookie Company sells Gourmet Cinnamon Rolls because WHY NOT?! It's fun! It's called Cookies AND Dreams - we can make killer cookies AND cinnamon rolls AND brownies AND bars......& who knows what else! When you're elbow-deep in the day-to-day of small business life, it's easy to forget why you started your business in the first place. In my case, I started it because I LOVE to bake, create & share joy with others. So as long as our cookie fam & the Midwest community keep allowing me to do that, we will keep having FUN. So thank you, cookie fam. Thank you for getting just as excited about cookies & cinnamon rolls as I do. Thank you for keeping the DREAM behind Cookies & Dreams alive.

I see so many small businesses in our communities shuttering their doors. I see calls for help nearly every day - ourselves included.

It’s so easy to tie your self worth up into how well or how poorly your business is doing but before we go any further…I want to tell you to STOP. 🛑 You are enough. In fact, you are more than enough. You are brave & amazing & intelligent regardless of what the numbers on your POS look like this month.

Here at Cookies & Dreams, we are HUGE animal lovers 💖 in fact, our Barky Bites were invented & tested by one of our very own honorary Dream Team members - a sweet Black Lab puppy named Woody & his mama Mary.

Many of our furry Dream Team members have tested this recipe to make sure it is PERFECT for all of your pups!

And the results are in - dogs love our Barky Bites! And now they are for sale at the Humane Society to help support doggies in need.

Wayyyyy back in late 2019 & early 2020 we had a restaurant with a bakery. This bakery sold pastries, breads, desserts….& cookies.

Following the record breaking winter & flood of 2019, I knew I had to do something crazy if we were going to survive another Midwest winter.
I looked at our product mix & realized that our top selling item in the entire restaurant was our Chocolate Chips Cookies (the 2nd top selling item was 🍺because ). A lightbulb came on & I set to work R&Ding a full cookie menu.
We launched inside the restaurant on January 15th, 2020. Cookies & Dreams was born.
While none of us could have predicted the craziness that followed in 2020 & or the wild journey of ups & downs since those early days…..the one thing that will always be here to stay is the cookie that started it all….THE OG CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE 🍪🍪🍪
