King of Crates is now a $10,000 to-win!

(Eastaboga, AL - July 18, 2024) - The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series will now compete for a $10,000-to-win payday at North Alabama Speedwayfrom August 8th to 11th, crowning the 14th Annual King of Crates.

The Wallace family has stepped up to make this year's King of Crates event the biggest in its 14-year history, adding significant funds to the purse to entice drivers to visit the Tuscumbia, AL speedway. This event marks the 13th on the 2024 schedule offering $10,000 or more to the winner and kicks off a series of races, with five out of the next six events scheduled as $10,000-to-win races.

This will be the 10th time the series has visited the Tuscumbia, AL facility. The first visit occurred on August 5, 2005, when Ronnie Johnson took the checkered flag ahead of Denny Slayton and Jeff Fields. The most recent stop for the series was just one year ago, where the 2023 series champion Mark Whitener secured the victory on his way to his first career series championship.

𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙬𝙖𝙮 is set to bring racing action back to Alcorn County this Saturday! After a long awaited time, the green is set to drop at 6:30. The freshly resurfaced High Banks will host its share of side by side, fast, hammer down racing action for the remainder of the Season. Make sure to bring the entire family out for a night under the lights, at a affordable cost!

Driver info:

• Registration will be at the Pit Concessions.
• Raceceivers are MANDATORY (channel 454)
• Drivers must be registered by 6:00 or you will start the rear of your heat.
• Payouts will be available at the Grandstands Concession.
• Drivers meeting will be at 6 SHARP at the scales. You MUST attend.

Hey guys This is Tim. Unfortunately I will be terminating the rest of this season. Due to my work schedule and trying to run on Fridays I’ve just been going in the hole week after week. Trying to run with all the other tracks doing three days features and there will be no way for me to break even trying to compete so at this time it’s best I walk away. I hate to this this because I love Racing more than anyone and I love working the tracks and creating great shows but it’s time to just walk away.

Due to the increasing chances of Rain Friday night 4/3/2024 we will go ahead and cancel and reschedule this event for a later date. We do apologize but I’d rather cancel than have everyone here and get caught in the rain.

Due to weather conditions with there being a 80% chance of thunderstorms the day of the this race we may reschedule to another date in MAY I’ll let you guys know at a closer date if weather conditions change.

First off i want to thank billy walker for bringing the factory stock series to the track and the guys that showed up in the factory stock class IM TRULY SORRY I DROPED THE BALL NO EXCUSES I ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THAT and if we can reschedule all drivers in the factory class that was there will not cost you nothing no pit pass no entry fee and race for the same money!! Also want to thank everyone that tried to help get the water truck up and running cant thank yall enough guys. Its up and running now replaced everything also want to thank the fans that came out and waited as long as yall did some of you received your money back and some of you didnt if you will bring your bands back its on me will gladly give you money back ive been doing this for 6 years and this is the first race i couldnt get in I ASSURE YOU ILL MAKE IT UP TO EVERYONE THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN!!! Alright guys Tim was thinking anojt grading the track Tomorrow and with that being said if he did he would hold and open practice 10$ a person and seal the track back in.
