Our office will be closed Thursday and Friday, July 4th and 5th, in recognition of Independence Day. Our office will return to normal business hours Monday, July 8th. We hope that you have a great holiday weekend.

Our 4-H Volunteers are taking preorders for Nothing Bundt Cakes. You can order small individual-size bundtlets for $7 or an 8" round cake for $35. They come in eight delicious flavors. Support our volunteers and place your order today. You can contact one of our volunteers or come by the Alcorn County Extension office to order.

Northeast District Project Achievement Day will take place on June 14th at 8:30 a.m. at Northeast Mississippi Community College.

Youth ages 5-13 will have the opportunity to compete in contests, participate in workshops, and experience other fun 4-H learning opportunities.

The deadline to register is May 8. For more information or to register, contact your county's MSU Extension office.
