New Air Distribution System! R-6 Flexible ductwork with Dampers Bar-Type High-Velocity Grills We also fixing some issues that weren’t done properly during the initial installation: sediment trap, flue pipe, condensation pump drain line, seal the return, adjust gas pressure.

Maintenance and a safety inspection should be done EVERY YEAR. Who knows how long this system has been leaking gas. Luckily nothing bad happened or caught fire with the leak being so close to the open flames. 🔥

This is the Heat Exchanger that we found with multiple cracks. We were called out for her furnace not turning on, which turned out to be a failed ignitor. Due to the systems age, we did an inspection on the heat exchanger and found some hairline cracks. We pulled the heat exchanger out to verify what we were seeing on the camera. We gave our client multiple options to fix or replace their furnace, which they opted to replace. This is why having an inspection every year is crucial. Who knows how long they were potentially being exposed to low levels of carbon monoxide. #carbonmonixideawareness #heatexchanger #isyourfurnacesafe #safety #furnace #fyp #foryou #homeowners

New Furnace Installed! Our client Phyllis and her husband Ron called us out fix their furnace. We came out ASAP and unfortunately after a thorough inspection, we did find multiple cracks in their heat exchanger. We provided them with repair and replacement options, and they opted to replace their furnace. Phyllis had major allergies, so we installed a 5” Aprilaire Filter to improve their Indoor Air Quality and protect their new furnace. We installed a surge protector to protect all the electrical components within the furnace since. Our Labor Warranty is 3 years so we want to make sure we are protecting their system as much as possible (most companies only provide a 1 year warranty) Most importantly we enlarged their Return Duct. Ultra-Low NOx furnaces here in California are reliant on proper airflow (duct pressure). The Manufacturer rates this furnace at 0.50” w.c. Our readings were 0.53 which is extremely good since we did not replace their Evaporator coil. We also added an overflow safety switch to shut the system off in case there is a condensation issue in the future. We installed an Emerson Easy Blue Reader thermostat which is simple to use and has big number and big buttons. This job was completed in 1 day, around 6-7 Hours.
