We were trusted to fully replace and redesign this hvac system and ductwork.
For 10 years this customer was experiencing a system that was underperforming and costing them thousands in high electrical bills.
We replaced all the accessible ductwork and enlarged all the supply ducts, we also cut in two more supplies and an additional return duct & grill. We also included a Aprilaire Filtration Rack, Surge Protection and a Nest E thermostat with their single stage GE gas furnace and AC system.

17 SEER2 Heat Pump Replacement in Canyon Lake with all new R-8 Ductwork!

We removed a 22 year old 3.5 ton Rheem Heat Pump that was on its last leg.
We removed all the ductwork and installed new R-8 Ductwork, we also installed new return and supply plenums.
All the grills and vents were removed, we sealed the boots and installed new bar-type vents.
We also added an additional return duct to get proper CFM to the system.
We installed a high efficiency X-Series Air Handler and Slimline Heat Pump, achieving 17 SEER2 rating.
As always, we installed an Aprilaire Filter Rack, surge protection and condensation protection devices.
We partnered with JB Warranties to offer a 10 Year Labor Warranty so the customer has complete peace of mind for 10 years!

Heat Pump Install COMPLETED!

Customer stated: “We heard a loud explosion noise like a gunshot when the furnace turns on”
“Also, why are my utility bills so high?”

Findings:
1) Flue Pipe ran inside old Transite pipe, causing condensation to leak into furnace.
2) Sediment trap not done properly, too short.
3) Combustion vent at the top of closet covered by flex duct.
4) Combustion vent at bottom of closet is open to the return/inside air
5) Air filter clogged (installed 2020)
6) Attic insulation nearly non existent
7) Ductwork not sealed properly, and poor insulation/design.

We will be resolving nearly all these issues next week. Stay tuned for the before & after pictures!

Our client Art contacted us and had a unique request. He recently purchased his home and his 1989 system was not working properly. The previous homeowner left a 2012 Lennox AC unit in his garage. We decided to give it a shot and see if it would work. We relocated the AC unit to the side of the home so he can enjoy his pool without the eye sore! To our surprise we were able to get the Lennox unit working!
We installed a new Furnace and Evaporator Coil to bring this job to a close!
