Perla is one of our first Inspired Scholars. We helped her through her BA at CSUF then her MSW at UCLA. We are so proud of her persistence and resourcefulness to reach her goals. She has already been offered many jobs and she is choosing Riverside county. We are thrilled to have her live in our community. She is looking forward to volunteering with Inspire and being an amazing social worker!

Destiny courageously moved from Chicago to attend Stanford University not knowing anyone. Not only has she earned her Bachelor’s degree but she became known as the go to hair dresser on campus and started her own business! She has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and we can’t wait to see what she decides to do next.

April is child abuse prevention month. At Inspire, we dream of not being needed one day. We would love to go out of existence because there were no longer children being abused and neglected and put into foster care. Join with us in praying for the children experiencing trauma and abuse today. That they can be protected and heal from their physical and emotional wounds.
