Hey all, Friendly reminder to set your calendar for March 7th for The Nueces County Young Republicans Monthly Meet. We are meeting at the Nolans Restaurant in Parkdale Plaza. We will promptly begin at 7pm, but come before then and enjoy the delicious food they sell. And best yet they offer The NCYR and Guests a great $10 small Poorboy Special. Tonight was awesome. Yet nobody showed except for a few, the zoom meeting with Glenn Jacobs was amazing. I learned allot about what he does and what he goes thru as mayor. We had an awesome meeting tonight. A very special thank you to Barbara and Nancy Graves for the Toastmasters presentation. It was highly educational. The cakes were highly enjoyed by all including the staff of Nolans which I found out they sent their cashier back with a bigger container wanting more because they loved the pineapple upside-down cake and confetti cake. None of the cake survived. Yet they were shocked knowing that I made them. Yes, a guy baked them their mouths were in shock. Thank you Orlando "Orly" Sims for Texas and Luke Wagner for helping with the ingredients and plates and forks. Our Final meeting for the year will be on December 14th, 7pm at Nolans at Everhart and Staples. We will have Glenn Jacobs the Republican Mayor of Knoxville, TN and WWE HALL OF FAMER via Zoom. You don't want to miss out on this epic and rare event. Congratulations to Michael Salvo on be voted in as secretary to the Nueces County Young Republicans Chapter. -Daniel
